i have no idea what's the pattern here, but i really want to share my fav girls

When I was 9 years old I played a role-playing game with one of my friends.

The plot involved a confrontation between God and the Devil. After the Devil's inevitable defeat, he was condemned for centuries to be a giant, flaming, floating head. Outraged at yet another loss, he entrusted his only daughter, a princess of Hell and daughter of Lilith, with the task of corrupting God's new favorite angel, created not so long ago. To do this, the princess of Hell would have to travel to an academy where angels and demons would mingle—a first since demons came into existence. This academy existed as a result of an agreement made after the Devil's latest defeat, an agreement stipulating that henceforth darkness and light should coexist in balance. Having lost, the Devil feigned acceptance to God in order to send his daughter on the task described earlier.

At its heart lay an unlikely friendship that would blossom between the princess of hell and God's new favorite angel. And yes, the angel also takes the form of a young girl in this story.

Obviously, I was inspired by Angel's Friends. Even though my friend wasn't a fan of that cartoon.

And secretly, I kind of shipped those two angel and demon girls. But I always told myself that one day I would write this story in a single book, focusing on the concept of friendship between them and nothing more.

But when I discovered Good Omens in 2019 (because yes, I didn't know about it before) I decided that my story, if I ever wrote it, could be extended into a trilogy instead of a single one-volume story, and that they could end together romantically.

Then, over time, other inspirations came beyond Raf & Sulfus and Aziraphale & Crowley.

Like that of Dean & Castiel from Supernatural.

Or even Eve & Maze from the show Lucifer.

Beatrix & Stella from the Netflix show Fate: The Winx Saga.

And of course, the Hellaverse.

And Jordan & Marie from the show Gen V. Because the angel "girl" doesn't actually have a defined gender and can change her body and appearance as she pleases (like all the angel, but most have chosen a definitive form, which she has not done). Unlike our demon heroine, who was created in a traditional (Lilith and Lucifer having sex) way and whose mother, Lilith, didn't possess the power to change shape like Lucifer.

One of the goals of the first volume is for our princess of the underworld to finally obtain her wings. Volume 2 develops the romance. And volume 3 involves our angel's journey to the underworld to retrieve her beloved princess of hell.

And yes, there will be nods to Greek and Norse mythology in this story, despite its traditional religious aspect. Like Orpheus and Eurydice for volume 3 like you probably understand alone.

Moreover, our princess of the hell has her true form inspired by Hel (or Hela) from Norse mythology, who is said to preside over an underworld realm of the same name. In this sense, her true form consists of having half of her body resembling that of a corpse.

Our princess of hell was raised by Lucifer just as much as Lilith and her aunt Eve. For yes, in this story, Eve is in hell, while Adam is in heaven.

The story raises questions about religion. What is truly good or evil? Is God truly just and inherently good? Is Lucifer also pure evil? Is hell truly a unique place of suffering?

I am still hesitant to incorporate inspirations from the Satanism religion for my more complex representation of hell and Satan in my story.

Honestly, if you have anything to say to advise me, whether it's about the Christian religion, Satanism, Greek and Norse mythology, I'm all ears.

If anyone's interested, I'm agnostic by the way.
