shouldn't be a hot take at all, but i think that feminism should mean equality for ALL genders, including trans men. why is it that the wikipedia page for feminism and transfeminism do not have even a small section on trans men? there's only ONE mention of trans men in each of them, and in one of them it's explaining transphobic TERF ideology with "trans women are not women and trans men are not men"... i thought that gender inequality (the very thing feminism is trying to abolish) affects trans men too, does it not? it's truly like we are hyperinvisible to everything, not even pages like transfeminism mention us even though transfeminism should be about trans rights (including trans men because we are still trans and face discrimination all the same). yes, we are men BUT we are also trans, and THAT is why we are oppressed and face discrimination. the word man does not automatically mean that we are priviledged, just like black men don't have the same priviledges as white men, that's just common sense i fear.

we cannot achieve the feminist dream of gender equality without equal rights and recognition for trans men, thank you.

can we PLEASE talk about the transphobia in the medical field more? i've been lucky to have relatively good experiences with medical professionals when it comes to my gender, but i had this one situation where the doctor ignored me explaining trans maleness and continued to talk about the issue as if it was a women's issue and as if the people the issue affected were women. it's honestly been bugging me since, and it's so fucking disturbing that they are either bigoted or they're not trained well enough to be in contact with trans and gender-diverse patients. no, i do not want to be misgendered or feel invalidated during a health checkup. i do not want to refer to myself as my deadname and as a woman while being at the doctor's office. i want to be seen like i am
