Good retention, with lots of lace - this blonde ale certainly looks nice. Mildly sugary-sweet aroma, with some grainy pale malts and yeasty bread, as well as notes of apricot, green apple and pear. There are also hints of banana and clove spice. Medium in body, with assertive carbonation levels typical of this style - it provides a good, solid bite, and the overall mouthfeel is crisp, light, and smooth. Bartenders Verdict The alcohol is well-masked, and while the flavour profile is suitable and not at all offensive, this still strikes me as a forgettable Belgian pale ale.
