Chrissy stood in her cousin's kitchen - well, her kitchen. A year later, and Chrissy still couldn't believe that this was her home now. She hadn't left even after she graduated. Everything had been planned for her by her parents, which left her feeling unsure about what she wanted to do with her life. The one thing she was sure about was her newfound family with her cousin and her uncle but also with the party, who had risked everything to save her life from Vecna's clutches. With it came a renewed friendship with Nancy and Steve. The most important thing of all was her relationship with Eddie, she'd never been more sure about anything in her entire life. She saved him and sat by his bedside as he healed. After that, she waited for him to come to his senses and when graduation came, she helped him walk across the stage. He laughed when she flipped everyone off with him and she couldn't help but kiss him in front of everyone. He had kissed her back. Things had changed months later, though.
"Soo. . .are we going to talk about it?" Vickie asked.
It had been Uncle Matthew's turn to cook and their turn to do the clean up. Chrissy was washing and Vickie was drying as well as putting up.
"Talk about what?" Chrissy asked.
"What's been bothering you," Vickie said.
"I'm fine," Chrissy said as she scrubbed the plate with frustration.
"The plate says otherwise," Vickie said. "I think it's more than clean now. . .I think you prevented it from ever getting dirty again."
"Hilarious," Chrissy said and let the plate fall into the soapy water with a sigh. "Eddie's been ignoring me lately."
"Do you need me and Robin to kick his ass?" Vickie asked. "She said as much as she loves him she'll gladly kick him in the ass for being a major dingus. . .her words not mine."
"No, don't do that," Chrissy laughed. "I think he's just embarrassed."
"Embarrassed?" Vickie asked.
"Well, I won't go into detail but it happened when we were in bed together and he - ," she started to say.
"Oh! Yeah, that used to happen to Dan all the time! That happens to guys sometimes, although not at much as Dan," Vickie frowned.
"No! Not that! Trust me, Eddie does NOT have performance issues," Chrissy laughed.
"Then what is it?" Vickie asked.
"He called out someone else's name when we were together," she said.
Vickie threw the dish towel over her shoulder angrily and put her hands on her hips.
"I'm sorry. . .what's this bitch's name?" Vickie asked.
"It's not like that!" Chrissy laughed. "I didn't hate it. . .in fact, I liked it."
"Okay. . .so, you liked it. . .," Vickie said in confusion. "What's the problem?"
"The problem is that Eddie's embarrassed and he doesn't want to admit that he said their name," she said. "Even though I'm more than okay with it because I think it's hot."
"You're not using pronouns," Vickie said and she paused wincing. "He does know about us, right?"
"Yeah, of course, I talk about myself with him all the time. I even told him about that time Steve and I snuck into my parents' bedroom to fuck one of my fellow cheerleaders together," Chrissy said. "And he knows that you're dating Robin."
"Okay, well. . .so, is he. . .?" Vickie trailed off.
"There have been signs," Chrissy sighed. "But I haven't tried to push him. . .he'd accept himself when he's ready. That's why I'm giving him space right now."
"Oooh," Vickie said in realization.
"It's just killing me because I miss my Eddie bear," Chrissy pouted. "Oookay, new topic."
"Are you going to Steve's pool party tomorrow? I can't remember what you said," Vickie replied.
Chrissy started washing the dishes again. While she was still figuring things out she got a job at Bradley's Big Buy. She kind of liked the work experience and having the money that she earned herself. Plus, her parents hated it and she thought she looked cute in the vest.
"I was supposed to work but Betty needed the extra shift more than I did so I gave it to her," Chrissy said.
"And do you know if Eddie is going to be there?" Vickie asked carefully.
"He said that he had to work," Chrissy said. "They finally hired him at Thatcher's Tires and he's actually taking it seriously. He loves working on cars. . .at least that's the one thing he'll still talk to me about. I just have to remember when he's ready, he'll talk to me."
"Right," Vickie looked at her doubtfully.
The next day, Chrissy showed up at Steve's place wearing a blue swimsuit under her pink top and white shorts. She was also sporting a new haircut. So short that it only went to her chin. She just needed something to distract her. Vickie's car was already in the driveway. She had come with Robin. Nancy's car was there, too, along with Argyle's van. She froze when she spotted another familiar van there. Son of a bitch. Chrissy opened the door without knocking, which was a policy of Steve's especially when he was having a party. She had heard the kids' laughter and the sound of splashing coming from the pool so she knew the young adults weren't with them. Chrissy followed the sounds of their voices coming from the kitchen. Argyle wasn't there but Nancy and Jonathan were leaning against the counter with Vickie and Robin. Meanwhile, Eddie was standing as close to Steve as humanly possible as Steve put the finishing touches on the food. Eddie's head snapped up when she cleared her throat.
"I thought you were working!" Chrissy and Eddie yelled at the same time.
"I was but I gave my shift to Betty at the last minute," Chrissy said, crossing her arms. "I thought Steve was going to tell you."
"Oops, I forgot. Sorry, Chris. I got really busy setting up for the party," Steve said, wincing.
"I, uh, I have no excuse," Eddie said nervously. "I figured you wouldn't be here."
Chrissy couldn't pretend like that didn't sting even though she understood.
"Are you not talking?" Nancy asked Chrissy.
"No, apparently not," Chrissy frowned. "I guess we're going to have to hash this out now. . .at least part of it."
Eddie squeaked, his face ashen, as he quickly hid behind Steve. He peeked over his shoulder, his brown eyes widening. Any other day, Chrissy would have thought it was cute. . .hell, it was still cute.
"Seriously?" Steve asked Eddie.
"You can't do this to me now," Eddie said. "Not now!"
"I just want to talk!" Chrissy exclaimed. "Steve, hold him!"
Steve turned around and grabbed Eddie. He stood behind him, his arms wrapped around him, pinning Eddie's arms to his chest. Eddie squirmed, cursing.
"It's the worst possible time, Christine Cunningham. . .in front of all these people. . .," Eddie trailed off. "This is where you choose to break up with me?!"
"Break up with you?!" Chrissy shrieked. "Eddie. . .you - you - you. . ."
"Dingus!" Robin piped up.
"Eddie, you dingus! I'm not breaking up with you!" Chrissy exclaimed. "Especially not for what happened during sex!"
"Dude," Steve said to Eddie. "That happens sometimes with guys. . .you thought she would break up with you for that?"
"She might break up with you for being an idiot, though," Nancy laughed.
"It's not that!" Chrissy and Eddie exclaimed.
"Trust me, Eddie does not have any trouble putting on a show in the bedroom," Chrissy smirked.
"I really don't," Eddie cackled.
"I'm certainly not going to break up with you for calling out someone else's name," Chrissy said.
"You called out someone else's name?" Jonathan asked.
"You're not?" Eddie asked softly.
"I'm not mad about that, Eddie," Chrissy said.
"Seriously?" Eddie asked as he relaxed in Steve's arms.
Chrissy sighed and moved in front of Eddie. She cupped his face.
"No, you idiot, I love you," Chrissy said. "If I said their name would you have broken up with me?"
"No, in fact, I would have thought it was hot," Eddie scoffed and Chrissy gave him a look. "Oooh."
"Yeah, you would have known that if you had just talked to me," Chrissy said.
"Look, I've never been a boyfriend before and I just - I was afraid you of it ending and then blubbering like a fucking baby because I love you, too, Chrissy," Eddie said.
"Well, I've never been a girlfriend before, not really. I got close once but life and parents got in the way," Chrissy said, her eyes glancing at Steve for a moment. "We'll figure it out together. Whenever you're ready to talk about it. . .I'm ready to listen but I'm not going to push you."
"How did I get so lucky?" Eddie muttered.
"Hm, we both did. Guess the universe got tired of being absolute dicks to us," Chrissy said and kissed him sweetly. "Let's go party."
Chrissy pulled Eddie out of Steve's arms, winked at Steve, and then pushed Eddie out towards the pool.
"I love your hair, by the way. Very sexy," Eddie said.
"Thank you, love, I thought so, too," Chrissy said.
Chrissy waved at Argyle who was relaxing by the pool, looking out over the water and kids like he was a lifeguard. He smiled at Chrissy and waved back. Chrissy pushed Eddie to the edge of the pool. She watched him take off his shirt before she did the same with her clothes.
"We jumping into together, Cunningham?" Eddie asked.
"Oh, you know it, Munson," she said and he held out his hand for her to take. "You look beautiful in the sunlight, Eddie."
It was true. She always tried to get him to believe it but with the scars on his chest and the missing nipple, she found it difficult to get him to see it. He proudly displayed them but at the same time, he was insecure about them. Chrissy ran her hands up Eddie's chest softly, putting as much love into her touch as she could while also being gentle. She could feel his breathing become uneven and she smirked.
"You look beautiful, too, Chrissy," Eddie said smiling softly.
Chrissy continued to smile at him as she pushed on his chest and sent him into the pool, his arms pinwheeling as he shrieked. Eddie hit the pool with a loud splash as the kids clapped and cheer.
"Do it again, Chrissy!" Max yelled.
Eddie resurfaced, spitting out water as he pushed his hair back.
"Yeah, I deserved that," Eddie said, and then he showed his dimples. "You did great, sweetheart!"
Chrissy laughed before diving into the pool. She swam circles around Eddie, like she was a shark, and broke through to the surface. She wrapped her arms around Eddie's neck and leaned forward to whisper in his ear.
"Did I ever tell you how pretty you look all wet like that?" Chrissy purred in his ear.
"Not in front of the kids, Chrissy," Eddie laughed. "Speaking of. . .one's coming this way."
Dustin was swimming towards them. It was one of the rare times when he wasn't wearing his hat. Chrissy was starting to wonder if he ever took it off.
"Good, you guys made up. Eddie wouldn't stop moping," Dustin said.
"I wasn't moping. I did not mope," Eddie said.
"You moped a little," Mike said from behind him.
"Oh, Eddie shot himself in the foot. He got himself worked up over something very small. He thought I was going to break uo with him," Chrissy giggled.
"Well, it's a good thing you didn't panic," Mike said and Chrissy giggled.
"Shut up, Wheeler," Eddie said.
"He just needed a little push," Chrissy smiled.
Chrissy splashed Eddie and he let out a dramatic gasp before splashing her back. It soon became an all-out war between Eddie and the kids. Chrissy watched with a grin when Argyle joined in as Eddie's backup. Chrissy slipped out of the pool, grabbed her towel, and a soda before collapsing down in a lawn chair next to Steve. They watched them play in the pool for a while. Chrissy was sure they were going to be raisins by the time they got out of there. Jonathan, Nancy, Robin, and Vickie only had their feet in the pool as they talked while watching the others splash about before it became a game a chicken. Chrissy certainly did like the sight of her boyfriend's thighs wrapped around Argyle's head.
"Glad you two are having a great time," Steve said. "I thought it was going to be awkward there for a minute."
"Sorry about that," Chrissy said.
"Hey, you have nothing to apologize for, Eddie was an idiot," Steve said. "I mean you're clearly crazy about him."
"Oh, absolutely crazy," Chrissy laughed and then paused, turning to look at Steve. "Did you ever think that we would be this happy?"
"God, no, I still can't believe we're here," Steve scoffed.
"Our parents tried hard to make sure we weren't happy," Chrissy sighed.
"Yeah, well, it won't be long before I'm finally in my own place," Steve said. "We had each other back then, though, and I'm really glad we have each other again."
"Me too," Chrissy said with a grin. "I have to say though. . .I know things are better but I kind of miss sneaking through to your bedroom window and pigging out on junkfood."
"We should do that before I move out, one last harrah," Steve grinned. "Say goodbye to this ugly ass house. . .Even though, I didn't get everything I hoped for. . .I'm pretty damned happy."
"What didn't you get, Steve?" Chrissy asked. "Maybe Eddie and I can get it for you."
Steve snorted and took a sip of his soda. He looked away from Chrissy.
"I'm not sure you'd want to," Steve said.
"You'd be surprised," she chuckled.
"So. . .you're really okay with Eddie saying someone else's name?" Steve asked.
"Yes, I am. I'm secure in my relationship with him," Chrissy said. "I trust him."
"I just - if it was me, I'm not sure if I would be," Steve said.
"Oh, Steve," she laughed.
"How you forget. . .did you forget about the time we slept with the same woman?" Chrissy asked.
"How could I forget that?" Steve scoffed and then he paused. "Are you saying you and Eddie would sleep with this girl together?"
"Something like that," she smirked.
"Lucky girl," Steve muttered.
"Yes, she is a lucky girl," Chrissy giggled. "Oh, Steve, you're so funny."
She got up and started to head inside to clean herself up.
"What?! What did I say that was so funny?!"
When she got back from the bathroom, everyone was out of the pool and sitting down to eat in the sunroom. There weren't any chairs available so Chrissy shrugged and slid into Eddie's lap.
"I saved you a plate," Eddie said.
"Thanks, monkey," Chrissy said and kissed Eddie's forehead.
"Just so you know, I had to help your boyfriend out of his trunks," Steve said. "They were like stuck to him. . .I don't know where he got them but I think they were a size too small."
"Oh, I would have loved to have been there for that," Chrissy said.
"Can we talk about something else, please?" Eddie hissed, burrowing his face into Chrissy's shoulder.
"I got my period, so you guys can all relax," Robin said, winking at Eddie. "Vickie did not get me pregnant."
"She couldn't even if she wanted to," Mike said.
"Don't be sexist, Mike," Nancy said.
"How am I being sexist? Women cannot get other women pregnant!" Mike exclaimed.
"Well, now you're just being rude," Robin said and Eddie cackled. "Women can do anything if they just work smart and hard enough."
"Were you really worried about that, babe?" Vickie asked.
"Yeah, she made me buy her a pregnancy test," Steve rolled his eyes.
"Aw, babe, you should have told me, I would have bought you one," Vickie said.
"I know," Robin said fondly and kissed her.
After dinner, everyone settled into the living room to watch a movie. Argyle, Nancy, and Jonathan had volunteered to help clean up while the rest settled in with the kids. Eddie had sat between Chrissy and Steve. Every so often she'd absent-mindedly run Eddie's leg and knee. Steve had the same idea with Eddie's other leg. It made Eddie squirm and eventually he jumped out of his seat before disappearing up the stairs. Chrissy and Steve shared a confused look before shrugging. He probably really had to go. Chrissy moved into his spot, curling up next to Steve. Whenever it was just the three of them, Chrissy and Eddie would silently fight over who'd get to sit next to Steve. Sometimes, Steve would just drape himself across their legs or sit in between them to break it up.
"Just going right for it?" Steve whispered.
"He snoozes, he loses," Chrissy said as she snuggled deeper into his arms and Steve laughed.
"I like your hair, too, by the way," Steve said as he used one of his hands to brush a lock of her hair away.
"Thanks," Chrissy whispered.
After a while, Chrissy was starting to get worried that Eddie hadn't come back. Chrissy slid out of Steve's arms and wandered upstairs to the bathroom. She could hear him pacing and muttering to himself. Chrissy knocked on the door.
"Eddie? Are you okay?" Chrissy asked.
"Uh, yeah. . .I'm fine!" Eddie exclaimed.
"Is it something I can help with?" She asked, a little too eagerly.
"Keep it in your pants, Cunningham," Eddie snorted.
"It's not my fault that you awakened the beast within me," Chrissy said.
"I think you've been spending too much time with me, my love," Eddie said and he sighed. "Besides. . .I've already taken care of that."
"Okay, so what's the problem?" Chrissy asked.
"Just - just come in here," Eddie said.
Chrissy opened the door and slipped inside. She closed the door behind her. Eddie was leaning against the counter with his arms crossed.
"Hi, baby," Chrissy said softly.
"I love you so much," Eddie started to say. "I want you to know that."
"Are you breaking up with me?" Chrissy asked.
"What?! No!" Eddie shrieked, dropping to his knees in front of her. "I would never."
Eddie grabbed her hips and rested his head against her stomach. Chrissy ran her hands through his hair.
"Then what's wrong? You're scaring me, monkey," Chrissy said.
"I love you," Eddie whispered, nuzzling her stomach. "But I love Steve, too. I don't want to break up with you but I think. . .I think I want to be with Steve, too. I know you two were together and I hoped that there were still feelings there. . .maybe we can invite him into our relationship."
Chrissy pushed Eddie back slightly so she could look into his eyes. She leaned down and kissed him deeply. She pushed him onto his backside and straddled his waist. She poured every feeling she had into the kiss, curling her fingers into his hair. Chrissy ground her hips into his, smirking when Eddie gasped into her mouth. Eddie's hands ran up her back, nails digging into her shirt causing her to moan. They broke the kiss at the same time, breathing heavily.
"I really like that idea," Chrissy gasped.
"Yeah, I can tell," Eddie laughed. "Hey, thanks for being to patient with me."
"Of course, baby," Chrissy said, brushing his lip with her thumb. "I know how hard it is to come to terms with yourself."
"So. . .you did have some inkling?" Eddie asked.
"Yeah, for a while, but I'd figure you come to me when you were ready," Chrissy said and then she laughed. "Plus, it was so obvious the way you looked at Steve."
"It just feels like I should have known," Eddie said.
"Oh, honey, don't beat yourself up over it," Chrissy said. "I know it didn't help that other people people were telling you who were. . .I'm sure you were just stubbornly refusing to admit those assholes were right."
"You know me too, well," Eddie muttered.
"Steve and I were just wound so tightly by our parents that some things just ended up falling out," Chrissy said.
"Like squeezing a tube of toothpaste too tightly," he said and she giggled.
"Exactly," Chrissy said and she frowned. "That movie is getting a little loud."
"I don't think that's the movie," Eddie frowned.
Chrissy got up and moved off Eddie, helping him up. Holding hands, they moved down the stairs and towards the living room.
" - IT'S BAD ENOUGH THAT YOU WENT AFTER NANCY WHEN SHE'S STILL DATING JONATHAN AND NOW YOU'RE GOING AFTER CHRISSY - ," they heard Mike yell. "KING STEVE ISN'T SO DEAD IS HE?"
"It's not like our relationship started innocently!" They heard Jonathan exclaim.
"WHY ARE YOU DEFENDING HIM?!" Mike screamed.
"I DON'T AGREE WITH WHAT STEVE'S DOING EITHER, MIKE, BUT IF EDDIE ISN'T BOTHERED BY IT - !" Dustin yelled.
Chrissy and Eddie stared at each other for a moment in shock before storming into the living room.
"HEY!" Chrissy and Eddie snapped at Mike.
"Why are you yelling at me?! He made a move on your girlfriend while you were in the bathroom?!" Mike exclaimed, looking startled.
"We were cuddling!" Chrissy yelled.
"Have you forgotten, Wheeler, that Chrissy and Steve have been friends since they were kids?!" Eddie shrieked.
Chrissy was glad that Eddie was just as angry as she was. Steve was standing in the corner, his arms crossed, with a look of fury and hurt on his face. Robin had her arm around Steve, glaring at Mike. Meanwhile, Max, Will, and Jane were trying to calm him down.
"It's not any of your business, asshole!" Max hissed at him.
"That's what I've been saying!" Steve exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air.
"You don't see me cuddling Lucas!" Mike exclaimed.
"And you're missing out on a great cuddle partner, Michael!" Dustin snapped.
"Yeah, what he said!" Lucas scowled.
"You seriously don't have a problem with this?!" Mike asked, scowling.
"We're in love with him!" Chrissy and Eddie exclaimed.
Everyone gasped including Chrissy and Eddie, who slapped hands over their mouths.
"I'm so sorry," Chrissy said to Eddie.
"Hey, don't worry, sweetheart, I outed myself, too," Eddie grinned.
"And if anyone should be apologizing, it's Mike," Robin said, squeezing Steve tighter before cooing at him. "You okay, over there, Steve?"
Steve gently pulled himself away from Robin, staring at Chrissy and Eddie in awe. Oh, the way his hazel eyes inflated. . .so soft and puppy-like. It melted Chrissy and she looked over at Eddie, who was melting too. The anger in his eyes faded as he smiled at Steve.
"You both love me?" Steve asked.
Chrissy shared a smile with Eddie and took his hand before turning back to look at Steve.
"Yeah, we do," Chrissy said.
"I love you, too," Steve beamed, and then he laughed. "Holy shit, I'm the lucky girl!"
"He assumed the name you said was a girl's name," Chrissy told Eddie when he looked confused.
"Yeah, big boy, you are!" Eddie cackled.
Eddie strode forward and kissed Steve, cupping his face. Steve gripped his waist, kissing him back. The eagerness of his kiss caused Eddie to stumble back but Steve pulled him closer, keeping a steady hand on his lower back. Chrissy watched her men, her heart hammering in her chest as it grew warm along with her face. The kids, who had looked touched at first, were now starting to get uncomfortable as the kiss began to heat up and Steve's hand was starting to inch closer to Eddie's ass. Chrissy hurried over to them and touched their arms.
"Hey, babes. . .Babes!" Chrissy exclaimed and they broke apart. "As much as I looove this, there are kids present."
Chrissy stared at them but more importantly at Steve. She forgot how hot he looked when he was thoroughly kissed out. His eyelids were half down, his pink lips were swollen. . .all because of Eddie. Eddie's lips did that. Chrissy launched herself at Steve as soon as Eddie moved back and slammed her lips to Steve's, her hand curling into his hair just as it had with Eddie's. Steve managed to catch her just in time, his arms wrapping around her waist as he returned the kiss. Apparently, she had gotten carried away because a moment later she felt Eddie tapping her arm repeatedly. She broke the kiss and turned to find Eddie flashing his dimples at them.
"Babes. . .babes, there are children present," Eddie said.
"Schmackin'," Argyle breathed.
"I'm sorry," Mike said softly.
"As you should be, Michael!" Chrissy scowled. "Upsetting our Steve like that."
"Yeah, next Hellfire, I'm putting your character through the ringer," Eddie said.
"I said I'm sorry!" Mike exclaimed. "I misunderstood!"
"Yeah, it's a good thing you didn't panic," Dustin said sarcastically.
"I told you, Jonathan," Nancy said and sighed. "I love being right. . .I expect payment tomorrow."
"You bet on this?" Steve asked, pointing between him, Eddie, and Chrissy.
"You're seriously going to take money from Jonathan?" Mike asked.
"Who said we bet with money?" Nancy asked with a smirk.
"So. . .is everyone okay with this?" Chrissy asked.
The entire room was filled with enthusiastic replies.
"Well, I don't know," Robin said crossing her arms. "Neither one of you asked my permission to date my platonic Steve."
"Wait, do we really - ," Eddie started to ask.
"No, baby, she's fucking with you," Steve laughed as Chrissy giggled.
"I'm just relieved. . .now, I don't have to hear Steve pine after the two of you," Robin grinned. "Although, it was funny watching him panic about who he loved more and who he had to choose. It was like watching a tennis match. I think he was relieved you two started dating each other because it meant he didn't have to choose between you."
"Aw, Steve," Chrissy cooed.
"It's funny that she thinks that I'm not going to be a thousand times worse now that the three of us are lovers," Steve grinned.
"Oh god," Robin groaned causing Eddie and Chrissy laughed.
"Okay, I'm really happy for you, Steve, and I'm sorry I overreacted but ew, don't say lovers," Mike said.
"Oh, Wheeler doesn't like that," Eddie grinned.
"Big mistake letting us know that you don't like that," Chrissy said.
"I'm getting a drink from the kitchen. Do you want anything, lovers?" Steve asked.
"Let's help you with that, lover," Chrissy said, putting her arm through Steve's.
"Yes, let's go, lover," Eddie said, putting his arm through Steve's other one.
"Yeah, okay, I deserved that," Mike muttered.
"Finish the movie without us," Steve said.
"You're never coming back, are you?" Robin asked.
"Don't count on it," he scoffed.
Chrissy jumped up onto the kitchen counter, watching Steve and Eddie dig into the fridge for a pint of ice cream. They grabbed a spoon and passed the carton around.
"Are we really doing this?" Chrissy asked.
"Eating ice cream?" Steve asked. "Yeah, Scoops didn't stop me from loving it."
"No, Steve, the three of us," Chrissy said.
"Oh, yeah, I think it's been a long time coming for both of us," Steve said. "The missing piece of the puzzle since I watched the two of you at the Talent Show."
"Oh, we both gushed about you after your performance," Chrissy said, taking a bite of ice cream.
"Well, this is brand new information," Eddie said as he watched Chrissy feed Steve.
"Hmm, of course, we didn't realize that was the start of our crush," Steve said. "Chrissy was the only one brave enough to approach you."
"You only chickened out because of Tommy Hagan," Chrissy said, rolling her eyes. "But then I chickened out because of my mom."
"I'm glad we got here," Steve said and held out the spoon in front of Eddie's mouth.
Eddie rolled his eyes but smiled and took a bite.
"Me too," Eddie said and proceeded to lick ice cream off of Steve's upper lip.
"You know, once everyone leaves," Chrissy said. "I kind of want to take Steve upstairs and make him scream our names. What do you say, baby?"
"Oh, hell yeah," Eddie cackled.
Steve shoved the spoon in the carton and walked out of the kitchen. Eddie and Chrissy looked at each other in confusion until they heard Steve yell into the living room.
"YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO HOME BUT YOU CAN'T STAY HERE! PARTY IS OVER!"
"Oh, we all know what that means, Mike," they heard Dustin say. "The lovers are going to have coitus. . .he hates that word, too!"
"It's as bad as moist," Mike groaned.
"Jesus, Wheeler, I'm on my period, what's your excuse?" Robin asked.
"Sympathy bitchiness?" Nancy asked.
"Aww, Mike, I didn't know you cared that much," Robin cooed.
Chrissy giggled and pulled Eddie to her, wrapping her legs around his waist before kissing him deeply.
"Did I mention how glad I am that you said his name?" Chrissy asked.
"Hm, no," Eddie muttered against her lips.
"I'm really happy," Chrissy replied.
Once the place was cleared out, Chrissy and Eddie grabbed Steveâs hands before guiding him up the stairs to his bedroom. They were going to make Steveâs last moments in this dreadful place spectacular and they were going to do it together.
