Info from Grand Comics Database
This majestic ship (Get it?) is the RMS Majestic. She was the sister ship of the RMS Teutonic and they were both the white star line’s flagships. She and her sister were the first of our ships to have 2 engines and 2 propellers. Majestic’s maiden voyage was on April 2nd 1890 going from Liverpool to New York City. She was also a recipient of the Blue Riband. Eventually she would get a refit increasing her tonnage to 10,147. In November of 1911 she became one of our reserve vessels and she was reactivated to replace the Titanic. Her last Atlantic crossing was on January 14th 1914. Throughout her history she carried 276,887 passengers across the seas. She would be scrapped in 1914.
