she  knows  it’s  only  a  matter  of  time  before  she  runs  into  jennie,  though  she  doubts  her  ex  -  bandmate  will  stick  around  after  finishing  her  set.  hell,  she  doesn't  even  think  jennie  would  bother  watching  anyone  else’s,  probably  too  wrapped  up  in  her  own  world  to  care.  still,  when  their  paths  finally  cross  on  the  way  to  the  bar,  vada  isn’t  quite  sure  how  to  feel  —  there’s  so  much  she  wants  to  say,  and  yet  nothing  at  all  at  the  same  time.  "  look  who’s  still  here,  "  she  says  at  last,  voice  trailing  as  her  eyes  settle  on  the  girl  she  once  thought  of  as  a  friend.  "  i  figured  you’d  leave  as  soon  as  you  were  done.  did  your  head  get  bigger  since  the  last  time  i  saw  you?  "  luckily,  she’s  still  coming  down  from  the  high  of  performing,  so  the  bite  in  her  words  doesn’t  land  as  harshly  as  it  could.

" oh, i actually just planned to sit out in the park for a while. " adjusting her backpack, that's so full she's slightly leaning to one side, she offers them a smile. " i've got snacks, some books — and i even brought my colouring supplies. do you want to join ? "

ever  since  she  came  back,  june  has  been  meaning  to  bring  them  all  together  again,  so  she  invited  them  over  for  dinner  at  her  place.  besides,  home  has  felt  a  little  too  empty  lately,  and  having  her  friends  around  seems  like  a  good  idea.  setting  her  utensils  aside,  june  takes  a  small  sip  of  her  wine  before  leaning  in  slightly.  "  so  what’s  new  with  everyone?  tell  me,  "  she  says,  her  gaze  moving  between  the  three  of  them.

she's weaving through the crowd, camera tightly gripped in her hand, trying to capture the atmosphere in a single photo. sometimes she thinks that's the best part — the people watching, taking it in. the buzz of electricity that comes from a shared love of music. she slows when she spots a familiar face. " you look like you're having fun. "

despite  everything  about  her  that  said  she  required  a  GLAMOROUS  LIFE,  honey  actually  really  loved  being  outside.  feeling  the  grass  beneath  her  had  always  been  grounding,  and  it  reminds  her  of  afternoons  spent  with  her  gigi  in  her  backyard.  plus,  tonight  was  going  to  be  nothing  like  camping,  which  required  a  lot  of  effort.  it  was  a  SLEEPOVER,  and  honey  had  always  excelled  at  those.  and,  who  best  to  share  an  extra  large  tent  with  than  two  of  her  closest  friends  ?  ones  that  knew  her  angles  and  how  to  take  a  PRETTY  photo  of  her  at  night.  they're  sat  outside  on  a  blanket,  as  it's  too  early  to  properly  turn  in  for  the  night.  so,  she  pulls  out  the  three  shots  she'd  brought  with  her.  nothing  too  crazy,  but  enough  to  give  them  a  little  bit  of  a  buzz  to  have  fun  with  the  night.  “alright  ladies,  TRUTH  OR  DARE  ?” 

rashmi  had  sent  him  to  find  a  place  for  their  tent.  why,  he  couldn't  be  too  sure.  he  figures  she  wanted  him  to  just  DO  SOMETHING  while  she  checked  in  with  her  friends.  he  thinks  he's  found  a  decent  spot  –  not  too  crowded,  but  not  too  out  of  the  way  either.  he  sees  someone  nearby  setting  up  their  tent,  and  he's  never  had  a  problem  speaking  to  strangers.  he  points  to  the  patch  he  was  looking  at.  “mind  if  i  park  myself  here  ?”
