Any Comic-Cons in Illinois?
So I’m a crazy fangirl. I haven’t been to a single comic-con or cosplayed. (unless you count halloween...) Does anyone know about any Comic-Cons happening in Illinois, specifically in the Chicagoland area? Also, if I want to cosplay, I’m going to need help choosing because I am obsessed with way to many things. Here are my ideas:
- Agent Peggy Carter
- Hope Van Dyne / the Wasp (but i’d be in the wasp costume)
- Claire Dearing (either movie)
-Blue the Velociraptor
- Newt Scamander
- Tina Goldstein
- Marinette Dupen-cheng, aka Ladybug
I’m a brunette, which probably won’t work with half the cosplay ideas, but oh well. :D
If I brought my little sister (8), she’d either be Wanda Maximoff or Angie Martinelli. Most likely Wanda. My brother (11) says he just wants to dress up like someone who would be well known, but there is no way in the world that if I’m Claire I’m letting him be Owen. Ick.
My littlest brother (5) would probably dress in his Spiderman costume (when he plays dress up that’s literally what he wears all the time. He was Spiderman 2 years in a row.) If not, he’d dress as something from minecraft.
Other things my brother might be: Bucky Barnes, Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Owen...maybe even Alan Grant. (but if he’s Steve or Owen, Peggy and Claire are out!)
Anyway, this would all probably happen AFTER Covid-19 is over, and I’m only going to go with my siblings if my parents are okay with watching them. I’m not old enough to go by myself anyway.
