it's always impossible for me to narrow this down, so let's just do a really quick list from currently occupying my brain and forever blorbo:

cassian andor (sw) — cascades (dirt road version), metric

relevant lyric: just keep going strong/ with whatever it is that's compelling you on/ don't be afraid when i'm gone / keep whatever it is that's compelling you on

jyn erso (sw) — guerrilla radio, rage against the machine

wanda maximoff (marvel) — everything i wanted, billie eilish

relevant lyric: i had a dream/ i got everything i wanted/ not what you'd think/ and if i'm being honest, it might've been a nightmare/ to anyone who might care

matt murdock (marvel) — deliverance, CHVRCHES

relevant lyric: careful when you're swimming in the holy water/ drowning in your own beliefs/ careful when you're standing at a broken altar/ asking if we feel relief

katniss everdeen (the hunger games) — safe and sound, taylor swift ft the civil wars (look i know it's on the movie soundtrack but that is her song, also the entire song is relevant goodnight)

8. Were you inspired by a fellow gifmaker to make a gifset?

All the time!!! And I make every effort to link direct inspirations in my captions if I have them! There's sooo much gorgeous work here. Two amazing people I want to call out who inspire me often:

Nik @cal-kestis is not only an insanely talented gifmaker but also unbelievably generous in sharing resources with other creators! I used her Google templates for my Felicity and Diego birthday gifsets in 2024 💖 Her gifs are always stunning, and her skill with gif effects is absolutely mindblowing!!

Mona @khaotungthanawat is one of the most creative gifmakers I've everrr seen! Her gifs are beyond beautiful, and the way she uses fonts and colors is UNREAL. Sometimes I literally go look at her gifs just to be inspired by what is possible 🥹 Also she is so so kind and supportive 💕

9. Did you notice a mistake in a gifset you made once it was posted? Did you fix it or pray no one noticed?

I definitely have before and I'm sure I did in the past year, but I genuinely can't remember...maybe I mentally blocked it out 😂 I'm always so worried about publishing with a visible mistake so I try to check things super thoroughly before hitting post. I really don't think it's a big deal on principle, but it drives me crazy with my own stuff 😵‍💫 When I have noticed mistakes, if I still have the right files I will fix it and replace the gif in question!

16. Do you have a favorite gifset you made this year?

Oh it's tooo hard to choose! I've mentioned a few Rebelcaptain ones in previous answers and those are usually my most favorite to be quite honest — but for something else a little different, I like this Shatterpoint Lineage gifset I made for swsource on May 4th! It was really fun to work with the colors and typography there; also I know I'm biased as a Rebels lover lol but it made me happy to give some extra love to the lesser-known Jedi lineage too!
