Please take this with a grain of salt. This is just something that I practice. When I hear “All Lives Matter” I must think “does every race need a movement?”. I believe when you say “All Lives Matter” it ignores the problems that most POC have to face, and it feeds the rise in White Supremacy . OF COURSE all lives matter, but we need to focus on the issues that happen in each minority group.  Let’s focus on the innocent Black lives that have been taken away. Or my fellow Asian American’s who have been severely injured or killed. Please don’t take it offensive when someone says to check your privilege. Not acknowledging that you do not have privilege is just feeding White privilege. If your neighbors house is burning down and the firefighter takes it down. Do you tell the fire fighter, what about our houses? Our houses matter too. No Karen, you’re house is not in danger.
