If you could have any job you wanted, what would it be? Sky’s the limit. I would want to have total creative control over a Star Trek reboot…Demora Sulu and a gang of fanfic babies (like kirk/spock’s kid, scotty/uhura’s kid) go on adventures and learn lessons about friendship and alienation - probably the overlying theme would be socialism in the federation? and p. much every character is trans. 

What is your favorite fanfic trope? When Spock is shy like me

What video game do you think everyone should play? OH jeez, IDK. I like video games that give me an illusion of control over my material security, like Animal Crossing.

Where is your favorite vacation? Hiking in some mountains with people who think I’m nice and it’s okay if we don’t talk at all, all day, and at night we look at the stars

Most romantic thing to do on a date? I have no clue…I’d like to do a date where you both learn something new though, something cheesy like go to a pottery class

Biggest pet peeve? judgmental gossip about petty things

What was your favorite teacher like? Mr. Brennan, 7th grade math teacher, only teacher I ever hugged. He never did anything really super special except have faith that I could do what he was asking without putting pressure on me to be an all-A smartie pants

it's certainly damn good but "best ever" i feel is a little too high praise for it. gotham central is a damn good character focused police procedural, with its own flaws here and there - like during the Robin arc, i do not believe for a minute that these pro detectives wouldn't notice the fact that the photos they were finding didn't have a chalk outline until THAT much later. its strengths rely mostly on its authenticity, thanks to the power team of rucka and brubaker, and the fact that rucka is BIG on research, actually talking to cops and suchlike, and also the power of having such a large cast, letting people bounce off of each other. i feel some of the cases themselves could've been better fleshed out, or more ambitious - perhaps a running arc with a criminal, developing them as a long term character? but i suppose corrigan filled this role - but it was still a very good comic, no argument on that front.

anyway, Gotham Central is easily the smartest bet to adopt into live action TV - it's fairly low budget, police procedurals are STILL consistently popular no matter how flooded the market gets, and it draws on the insane popularity of Batman. i'm not sure why they decided to do origin of Gordon instead as a TV show, as that cuts out a lot of cast potential. maybe they felt it'd be better to focus on a singular character, due to the relative success of Arrow? who knows. i doubt we're gonna get renee, crispus, maggie, and the others, though, which is a shame.
