You got Carl whole ass preening at the idea of being Graces baby daddy and being utterly prideful to have the rights of bending him over. He's so smug like 'ah yes I was able to bag the weird genuis school teacher, 😎'

And then ussually Simon is either written like a sly little mud covered stray who just got away with breeding a freshly groomed show poodle or thinks of himself so little that having the bragging rights to having gotten Grace is monumental to his entire bloodline. Like he would go back to eden just to shove it in their faces that he IS capable of being loved 'So fuck you!!'

And then you have Tom fucking Ryder being on social media constantly posting Ryland (even if theyre not together anymore LMAO) with captians like 'My boo thang❤️‍🔥' or just 'He dosn't know it yet but Im gonna put a ring on that finger💍'

Grace, who broke up with Tom 5 years ago, had no clue what so ever about the post because he has Tom blocked, and now multiple people are messaging him about the wedding: ?? Is that a threat?

Im coming to the conclusion that Grace is a trophy wife. In the sense he has a display case full of scientific awards and everyone wants to show him off.

it was shortly after breaking things off with his longtime college girlfriend and grace is lowkey wondering if he is gay or something (the answer is or something). he’s actively getting ousted from academia, mid prolonged mental breakdown he’s not making the best choices. enter tom ryder who is mostly straight but sometimes likes to fuck guys who look just like him and colt is never going to anywhere near that. but oh look at that he has a twin brother with way less self confidence visiting him on set today…

it’s the worst lay of ryland’s life. he never tells colt about it until after the events of fall guy when they catch up over some drinks and ryland (very drunk) accidentally lets it slip and colt spits his tequila sunrise all over the table.
