2. pick one: sit down (earlier vids), prank wars, xplr, haunted, or 25x25?

xplr. I liked 25x25 too, until it started going off the rails. And haunted is ok. But I'm an og xplr person.

7. what's one video concept you don't want them to ever do again? what's one you do?

I don't ever want them to do prankz again, or the sit down sort of, "What do girls really like in a boy?" type crap they were doing back in 2015.

I would like them to sprinkle in a little more travel stuff, or some more of their original 25x25 ideas (living abroad for a bit, THE MUSIC COLBY, Machu Picchu) in with the xplr/haunted.

8. least favorite side-project of theirs (stranded, paradise island, TLP, Metalife, membership, xplr club, etc).

I was never a part of most of the ones listed, so I can't really give an opinion on those. Stranded sucked, but it was set in Centralia so I have to give that a PA pass, and I actually liked Paradise Island.

So, that leaves the membership. When they remember it exists, it's fun. But they forget it exists a lot, so.

Oh! Actually- the stereo app. That was my least favorite side thing they did. I downloaded a whole app for what? 🤦‍♀️

Being stopped from traveling East and finding out Cole forgot to pack import travel documents = the TFIL trip to Japan and Elton pranking Colby

Cole saying the country would sooner spread rumors he was seeing Sam = Solby

Cole saying Katrina earned a smile from the Queen during her debut = reference to the previous chapter when it was whispered that the Queen hadn’t smiled since of Duchess of Silverkeep’s debut

Being kidnapped by pirates and having to escape = SNC doing a pirate-themed escape room

Haunted mining town = Cerro Gordo series

Being chased out of a cave and interrupting a dark ritual = the Enchanted Forest at the Cobb Estate (specifically the last video there)

Corey getting chills + the shadowman 

Cole’s father having his study in the West Tower = Cole having his study in the West Tower (and it being one of his only safe spaces)

Cole saying he inherited a life he was never meant to have = in chapter two, Cole saying he wasn’t born to be king

Chapter 5

Aryia saying the Queen grimaced at Serena’s debut = reference to chapter one (“What if the Queen was in a sour mood and decided to frown at you—or worse, grimace—just for fun?”)

Chapter 6

Serena saying Cole can call her by her name and him refusing = Cole saying the Reader can call him by his name and her agreeing

Serena saying she never married because a man promised to always treat her like royalty = in chapter four, Cole swearing to treat Serena like royalty for the rest of her days

Chapter 7

The Reader saying “and to think you call yourself a gentleman” = in chapter two when Cole says to Elias he knows how to be a gentleman

Cole saying if the Reader leaves, you’ll be taking his heart with him = the question posed by Serena in the previous chapter (““I feel like you took a part of me with you when you moved away.”  [...] “Your heart, my prince?” Cole laughed. “No, I was thinking something like my kidney.””)

The Dowager Viscountess comforting the Reader about the potential of not marrying her first season + saying that she herself was able to marrying in her second season = the Reader telling Elias that not marrying in her first season could cause her likelihood of marrying to decrease tenfold

The Dowager Viscountess and the Reader talking about the rumor of Cole seeing Sam = in chapter two, Cole joking that the kingdom would sooner spread rumors that he was seeing Sam

Cole saying he never felt freer with the Reader = in chapter two, Cole worrying of losing his freedom in marriage + Sam saying that when you marry the right woman, you don’t lose your friend at all

Chapter 10

Amber saying she would carve out the prince’s heart if he hurt the Reader again = Prince Cole saying in chapter seven that if the Reader leaves, she’ll be taking his heart with her

Amber saying, “...it seems his Royal Highness finally came to his senses and realized he had had an absolute diamond in his midst, and that he was a fool to let that go.” = in chapter two, Cole saying (about Sam and Katrina’s marriage), “You had an absolute diamond in your midst, you would’ve been a fool to let that go.”

The Reader joking that Katrina is the wife of Cole’s husband = in chapter two, Cole joking that the kingdom would sooner spread rumors that he was seeing Sam + in chapter 9, the Dowager Viscountess and the Reader discussing those very rumors

Jake asking if Cole has told the Reader about him chasing a shadowman in a haunted forest = Colby running off in the Witches Forest series

Sam talking about the time Cole broke the foot off a priceless panther statue = Colby breaking the foot off his panther statue in “Reacting to the SCARIEST Tik Toks Ever... (Pt 8)”

The friends talking about the time Cole boxed a turkey = just, the entire premise of the “Thanksgiving Madness” video

Jake talking about Cole and Sam getting arrested = the infamous arrest story

Chapter 12

Amber clawing out the assailant’s eyes = in chapter three, the Reader says Amber looked ready to claw Lady Serena’s eyes out; in chapter ten, Amber says about Cole: “All Amber knew was that, if the prince ever tried to hurt you like that again, she’d claw his pretty blue eyes out. She’d maim him, hurt him, carve out his heart if she had to.”

Chapter 13

The man in prison being sent to the royal penitentiary for attacking the Reader and Lady Amber = the Reader saying in chapter three that Elias would be sent to the royal penitentiary if he attacked Prince Cole 

Chapter 14

“Elias was in front of him in an instant, and for a moment he was afraid that your brother may strike him. But, he figured, he deserved it. What he was doing was hurting you, and any good brother would not let that slide, especially when his reasoning was subpar at best. “Get the fuck out of here, Your Royal Highness,” Elias sneered. “And if you have the gall to show up here uninvited ever again, the next person you’ll be dragging off to the royal penitentiary will be me.”” = in chapter 3: “Elias frowned, looking as though he was ready to turn the dispute to something more physical. But you knew he wouldn’t. At least, not with you and your mother present. You’d both have his head on a spike faster than the Queen could have him sentenced to a life-time in the royal penitentiary.”

Chapter 16

“Sam usually wasn’t the type of person to judge.” = in Paradise Island, Sam saying he doesn’t judge but then...spends the entire book judging everything.

Chapter 17

Honestly, this entire chapter is supposed to mirror chapter ten. 

Not so much a reference, but pearls are symbolic of marriage, innocence, purity, and fertility. Do with that what you will in the context of the dressmaking :)

He took extra precaution to protect his heart = Colby’s “protect your heart” merch and his Simple Pickup tattoo

Sam’s entrance into the throne room is supposed to mirror the Reader’s entrance in chapter one
