Vox still hadn't recovered from the shock of waking up in his old human body when an extremely familiar voice rang just outside his door. Shit, why was Alastor there?! They weren't supposed to meet till later that night! And...why there was no radio filter altering his voice?

The latter thing gave him pause for a moment, but the awareness that he needed to shut the other up before he alerted Velvette or Valentino prevailed. So, he threw the door open and grabbed the other by the front of the shirt, dragging him inside...very, very easily. Something he shouldn't have been able to do in his current form.

"Al, shut the fuck up! Look, I don't know what you're talking about, but I'm dealing with..." He started to hiss out, but the words died in his throat the moment he realised what he was looking at.

Caramel skin, soft brown curls, a petite form, stunning maroon eyes. Was that...? Holy shit.

"You...You too?" He stuttered out, mismatched eyes wide with incredulity. "You're...you're... beautiful."

Not what he had meant to say, but it was true nonetheless. And speaking of facts...

oh boy, i have a lot of these i fear, but i think i’ll go with milla being a fallen angel. i do not like that at all. its not interesting to me and personally i think it undermines her character a bit. to each their own of course but the theory just really does not work for me.

a huge part of what makes her interesting is that she is self made as a sinner who clawed her way into power through intelligence and discipline. making her a fallen angel reframes so much of her knowledge and influence as something innate rather than earned. the idea that she only knows how to forge angelic steel or recognized vaggie as an exorcist because she used to be an angel herself feels kinda lazy and honestly is a lot less satisfying to me than her being observant and resourceful enough to piece things together on her own.
