Forever yelling from the rooftops about the consequences of Raiha Pass. Jodie thought Kir had killed Shuuichi. James felt it necessary to remind her that Hondou was just doing her job and that she shouldn't be blamed for doing what she needed to survive, and he was right. But to Jodie that is still the woman who killed one of the most important people in her life. And she has to remain in contact with her. Talk to her work with her have the proof that she's still alive and kicking while Shuuichi is six feet under. And yet. Despite all of that. Jodie still wants her. What the fuck.
(Never shutting the fuck up about how Hidemi was literally thinking about Jodie as she set up the bomb next to the corpse in disguise either. Girl you're trying to pull off an incredibly risky plan to fool the BO can you not think about another woman while you work)

Jodie all the way!! I feel like out of the two she's the one who's more nonchalant about PDA in general and would also be able to trust her partner not to take advantage of her comparatively more vulnerable position (as in, she wouldn't get paranoid about Hidemi randomly pulling a gun on her. Hidemi can't say the same, sadly. We love to see a NOC suffering /silly). Plus, this allows for Hidemi to easily reach Jodie's neck for kisses and nibbles. Win-win
15. One to three AUs you would like to see explored with this ship?
OUGH... rotating possibilities in my brain like microwave... I think some kind of roleswap AU where Jodie is the one who goes undercover for the FBI would be fun... My brain hates me because this messes up the timeline in so many ways but consider this: the yuri potential🥺 Vermouth would also be there oh my god. Jodie recognizing her voice and going "wait a fucking second. No way" and from then on having to actively avoid doing anything reckless whenever Vermouth is in the room... Add to that the fact that Vermouth seems to favor Kir (although who knows what goes on in her head. She might be trying to figure out if that's a NOC) and Kir doesn't seem to mind but she and Jodie have something going on and Jodie has to grapple with being into a woman who doesn't hate Vermouth's guts etc etc... (rattles detco women like soda cans) WE COULD HAVE HAD IT ALL MAN.
