A stolen joint from Paul’s stash hangs from your mouth as you look through your bag of nail polish.
“Y/n! Paul will notice one’s missing!” Star laughs as she notices the joint. She joins you on your bed.
The boys were out tonight, Star begged you for a a quiet night in, just the two of you. Of course you had said yes.
“Don’t worry, he’s owes me!” You smile at her. “So what colors do you think you want for your nails babe?”
She purses her lips and hums. “I think just black tonight.”
You grab the first black bottle you find and start shaking it. “Just black? I can do more colors if you want, or designs?” You lean in, hold the joint in your fingers, and start to whisper.
“I stole one of Marko’s micro paintbrushes. I can do swirly designs.” You start to laugh as the weed starts to slowly kick in.
Star smiles and rolls her eyes. “Maybe… some lavender swirly designs please?”
You nod, “I can definitely do that.” You roll over to your side table and grab said stolen micro brush off of your side table and roll back and face Star.
“Okay,” you inhale in and out of the joint, turning your head, to not blow smoke in Star’s direction. “Wait… do you want a hit of this?”
She nods her head. “Just one.”
“Absolutely, wait, wanna try shotgunning it?”
“Yeah, let’s try it.” She says softly.
“Only if you’re comfortable with it,” you run a finger down her shoulder, letting your hand slap down on the bed.
“Yes Y/n, I want to try it with you.”
“Sorry, just making sure you’re all good.” You take another hit and hold it in your mouth.
Star leans in and closes her eyes. Her lips meet yours and you kiss at first. Your tongues dance you slowly breathe the smoke into her mouth.
Star inhales and moans. You pull away and watch Star as she exhales, the smoke coming out of her nose and mouth. She opens her brown eyes.
“Perfect.” She moans.
“Good!” You softly clap your hands and look at your nail polish you set aside. “Shall we get started?”
“Yes please.” Star holds out both her hands and wiggles her fingers at you.
“Tease,” you say nonchalantly, the joint flopping in your mouth. You open the black bottle. You start in Star’s thumb.
She smiles and tilts her head. She loves the look of concentration on your face. Pure concentration.
“Can you take it out of my mouth?” You ask.
Star understands what you mean. She takes the joint out and holds it for you as you exhale and finish with her thumb. “Okay, that guy’s done.”
“Beautiful. I love it.” Star leans in and pecks you on the lips.
“Thank you.” You say. You feel floaty and in a warm daze, eyes slightly heavy.
“I get so sleepy around you, you know?” You start.
“Why’s that?” Star asks, she bring the joint to her lips.
You shake your head. “I don’t know. I read somewhere on my phone it means that you feel really safe around that person. I could be wrong though.”
She smiles and hands you the joint. “You feel safe around me?”
“I do, yeah.” You say looking at her. “You and the boys but mostly you.” You blow out before you start to blow on Star’s nails trying to make the Fast Dry paint dry faster.
“That’s good because, I feel safe around you too.” she runs her now free hand over your cheek. You turn and inhale the vanilla perfume on her wrist and kiss her there.
“Good.”
You finally finish her nails and the joint being shared between you. You’re both now lying in your shared bed. Star holds her hand out and admires her nails. “They’re like yours but mine are more whimsy.” She comments.
You hold your hand out by hers. Looking at your all black nails. “Yeah you’re right. Hands are so weird.”
Star curls into your chest, a silent laugh leaving her.
“What? It wasn’t that funny.”
Star covers her mouth still laughing. “Yes it was!”
“Okay,” you say laughing with her.
You loved this. The cave was so calm and and you felt right at home. Until-
“What are you two doing?” David.
“Did you steal from my stash, Y/n? Really I thought we were cool!” Paul.
“Don’t you owe her one, idiot?” Dwayne.
“Is that my brush?!” Marko.
You look at Star and you both groan. You grab a pillow and gently throw it at Dwayne. He gives no reaction. “Go awayyyyy!” You cry.
“Yeah leave us alone!” Star adds.
David rolls his eyes throws his hands up and walks off. “Fine. Guess we’re going back out boys!”
“Sounds good to me,” says Dwayne. He winks as he leaves you two alone.
“I did owe you a joint Y/n, I remember now.” he puts his hands together in a prayer stance and mouths ‘forgive meeee’.
“You close your eyes and nod. “You are forgiven my dear Paul.”
He snaps his fingers and smiles and runs out of the cave.
“Oh and here’s your brush Marko! I washed it so it’s a clean and ready to use!” You hold the out to him.
Makko nods and takes it. He puts it in his back pocket and goes to join his brothers. “Be good you two.”
“Always,” you say. Star waves bye to them as their motorcycles started revving.
“They are so dramatic, i swear!” You comment.
“They really are.” Star leans lean and kisses you. You rest your hand on the side of her face.
“Love you.” you mumble into her lips.
“I love you.”

Okay so I requested this on your other page but I'll request it here too, could you write a reader x the lost boys about the reader has a nightmare about the boys turning on them which makes them paranoid so they distance themself from the boys which leads to the boys freaking out cause they think they did something to make the reader is mad at them. They eventually confront the reader, etc...
A/N ; sorry for waiting a month to post this. been surrounded by a lotta loss recently. (dropping my alter ego for a sec, genuinely thank you for being patient.)
the night was quiet—eerily quiet. the kind of quiet that made you want to throw up. the kind of quiet that made you itch.
the abandoned hotel around you, where you spent the majority of your days, felt oddly fuzzy. everything was in place, and everything felt familiar. the paintings on the walls looked like blurs. the disheveled pillars on the ground weren't straight whatsoever, rather being in zigzags. but for some reason, you felt as if that was the least of your worries.
you don't know why you were here in the first place—the boys only hung out in this place around midnight. but, here you were, the early moonlight piercing through the abandoned area. something told you they were here. those gorgeous vampires were nearby, for better or for worse.
"david," you call, hearing your voice bounce against the ancient stone walls. "marko? dwayne, paul?"
"whatcha' yellin' for, babe?"
michael was the last person you thought you would hear, mostly because he was trying to visit his family at every possible moment of dark. but oh boy, was he a sight for sore eyes. you nearly leap at him, tossing your arms around his waist. he blinks down at you, huffing out a laugh.
"michael! where the hell is everyone else?" your projected voice makes him falter for a moment noticeably. "they're never out this long. you—you're usually out longer. is something the matter?"
"slow down, slow down," he laughs, tightening his grip a bit. you weren't gonna complain, you needed the comfort. you shifted slightly to get a better look at him, to make eye contact with him. "david and the boys are fine. they're just… preparing for dessert, you know?"
you squinted up at him, tilting your head. dessert wasn't really something that they went out for. but, laddie was with them, so maybe he wanted some ice cream on the boardwalk. but another part of you realized that they probably would've invited you. so, the question is asked, why the hell are you here?
michaels tight hug made you cough from the lack of oxygen. "michael, you can let go now. i think that we should go out looking for them. i have a bad feeling."
"they're fine, (name)."
"michael—OW! michael, let go of me! that hurts—"
"it'll hurt for now, but the pain'll go away soon."
your heart thunders in your chest. you have so many questions with so little answers. michael was never this cryptic, sure, he was vague sometimes but that didn't connotate what—
a sharp, buzzing… pain sears through the back chunk of your neck. letting out a scream, you desperately try to kick out of michaels hold, which you now realize was keeping you in place, cutting off your oxygen. a statue of trust has now become your grave.
"quit squirmin' babe, c'mon! hold still," you hear a familiar voice whine. marko, who grumbled and murmured half-hearted orders into your ear as he tore through your neck.
michael, and now marko?
you always knew spending all of your time with vampires was a bad idea. hell, you forgot they were creatures of the night sometimes. they seem so unbelievably normal—it was a gut feeling. is this happening to michael, marko, and the others, or is it just them? did you do something wrong? did they just… lose it?
the harsh force on your neck, attributed to marko, was ripped away suddenly.
"marko, you're making a mess."
you shiver from hearing paul's voice, which cuts through the dramatic, hazy, cartoonish drips of your blood onto the dirt.
marko, eyes red and piercing, stare into paul with the attitude of a child. "yeah, right! like you would've done any neater. the last time you tore into a meal like this, you couldn't help yourself!"
meal? am i just some fucking meal now?
"well at least i'm not a hog, man. now back off and give me a turn."
paul shoves marko to the side—something you never imagined would happen a day in your life. they were the closest knit, and aside from the occasional roughhouse for laughs, they never would've gotten violent with each other. what you didn't expect was how viciously the blond tore into the other side of your neck.
the weirdest thing was the fact that it didn't feel painful. all it did was sting. it felt like a harsh pressure digging into you, jabbing at all your nerves, but never burning or making you scream in pain. the only explanation for this had to have been—
the pressure that had built up from pauls stinging bite disappeared slowly when you hear him grunt on the ground.
"you guys tore them up, huh? david isn't gonna be happy."
dwayne strides into the scene, the cause of paul falling down, and moves into your peripheral vision. he frowns, head tilting at you.
dwayne—the same guy that's been your shoulder to cry on, the one that takes care of you like he's known you all his life. the vampire who treats every guy here like a brother by blood. he should be saving you if anything. he should be ripping you out of michaels tight grip and rushing you to a hospital for all of the blood you're losing.
"did you guys leave any spot for me?" he chuckles bitterly, his eyes narrowing on your shoulder. "so selfish."
you cry out when he rips a part of your tops sleeve, something terribly uncharacteristic of him, and dives in monster-form-first to sink his teeth into your shoulder, which was already coated in blood.
despite feeling no pain, tears prick at the corner of your eyes. not because of the blood or the harsh pressure you were feeling—but because these were your boys. the boys you stayed up late with, the boys you hung out with, the boys who recognized you as a person and let you stay regardless of whatever you've done.
screams and cries ripple through your throat, which don't end up coming out, only blood spurting from your mouth, coughing it onto michael and his leather jacket, who only laughs at your horrifying actions.
this was a nightmare—it had to have been. you couldn't move, you couldn't speak, and you could barely breathe.
dwayne sucked the blood out of your shoulder and arm feverishly, sinking his sharp fangs into every inch of your skin. no matter how much you screamed, him and the trio couldn't stop laughing their asses off about your terrible struggle. you could feel your body losing energy rapidly.
while you wanted to believe this was make-believe, it felt so… real. aside from minor details, and how they treat you, the boys were normal—not only that, but you felt their harsh touches and bites. maybe you did something wrong. maybe this was your fate for hanging out with blood-sucking vampires.
"man, sweetheart, you're lookin' worse than usual."
david.
the blood still left in your body went cold, completely frozen up as you looked at him. he was holding a severed arm painted in the sticky maroon liquid, which he brought up to his face and licked. his bleach blond hair glimmered under the cold hiss of the moonlight.
"dwayne," he says, beckoning to the man with his head. a silent sign to tell him to back off.
dwayne, where all credit is due, backs off swiftly, licking his lips and wiping the excess liquid with his leather jacket sleeve. his arms cross, giving david the go-ahead.
all of your blood is practically gone—you're sobbing, you're screaming—but you don't think anything was more terrifying than the way that the blond looked at you. those half-lidded, bulging eyes, that stupid fucking smirk, and those overly long fangs that you were 100% sure did not actually look like that. his vampire form looked much more… dramatic than you last remember it. he leaped down from the ledge of the entrance, slowly sauntering towards you.
"you wanna hear something, (name)?" david began, your eyes glued to his fangs. "you're a fucking meal—"
"not in the hot way either," marko barked out with a laugh, ruining the tension for a slight moment before being glared at by the other four boys in the situation. he coughed awkwardly. "my bad."
"as i was saying… why do you think we keep you around in the first place? you're substance when we can't find enough for the night. just a blood bag."
the quintet of vampires all burst out into laugher and chortles, all which make you deflate with shame. with fear and bitterness.
"you'll live. after all, what good is a dead bodies blood? we like our food warm."
their laughs seemed to get louder and louder, almost like shrieks of excitement in your ears. your body felt like TV static. your vision began to fizzle out, as well as the feeling in your limbs. all you could taste was blood, while all your other senses were collapsed and dead.
i can't go out like this. i—
you jolt out of bed in a puddle of cold sweat, the dirty silk sheets rustling to match your shape. a slight buzz hummed through the air as you regain all of your senses. your body felt as if it couldn't stop trembling, given by the fact that you were practically making the massive, deteriorated bed vibrate.
for the first time, your first instinct isn't to feel your palm on the sheets, awaiting to hit skin. you do not call out for michael, or david, or dwayne, or paul, or marko.
"(name)? you okay?" you hear star beside you. she was alright—that's good. the only thing you were concerned about now were if her and laddie were okay.
you give her a saturnine smile, sitting up out of the bed. it takes you a moment to even answer; should i even tell her about that nightmare? "yeah, star, i'm okay. thanks for asking. just had a small nightmare."
"what about?"
"don't worry about it."
star frowns at you, releasing a breath before brushing some hair out of your face. "okay. the boys are almost up, maybe they'll help you out."
a shiver rakes down your spine. that will not be happening.
you can hear a loud thump through the cave; the familiar sound of the five vampires dropping from their resting place. without a second thought, you fling yourself out of bed and put on your leather jacket—no, wait. it's david's leather jacket. the memory of him leaning in to tear you apart and insulting you to hell practically forces you to put it down.
so, without a jacket, you move to disembark from the abandoned cave. you feel star stare at the back of your head in worry, but you choose to ignore her. when the sun finally sinks down, you feel sweat gather on the back of your neck.
"g'morning to you two," paul greets smoothly, nearly making you jump. "we good for some breakfast?" breakfast, which was essentially code for "dinner."
fuck.
"i'm fine," you muster out, voice quiet but audible.
paul smiles at you, but his expression slowly falls as he realizes you're refusing eye contact. it wasn't like you—you were usually mostly smiles and laughs. that was the first red flag. he opens his mouth to call out to you before you can hop out, but loud footsteps start stomping towards the main room.
"who's ready for a good ride?" david's voice booms, whereas he eventually lands right next to his fellow blond friend. the words die on his tongue when he watches your eyes widen with something akin to panic, right before you storm out of the buried hotel. he looks over to star, eyes narrowing slightly. "what's up with them?"
"why, i don't know," star fumbles, shrugging as her eyebrows crease together. "(name) said they had a nightmare, but that's all they told me."
marko, dwayne, and michael walk into the scene, where paul whispers behind david, filling them in on the situation.
"so which one of us want's to go poke the bear?" michael asks, interrupting the silence.
the group of vampires look to one another, before dwayne sighs and raises his hand. "i can handle 'em. they're the most relaxed around me."
marko looks at him with suspicion, squinting his eyes. david appears especially unimpressed, snorting slightly. "who told you that?"
"billy joel," paul answers, snorting before the entire vampire posse chortles and hollers.
dwayne rolls his eyes, laughing slightly before chasing after you with a light jog.
the early moonlight glimmers on your skin as you rest on the top of the hill. waves crash beneath you. the world seems so still. a part of you even thinks that this could be the dream after the nightmare.
it's been ten minutes since you woke up—ten minutes too little. that nightmare keeps playing on loop in your mind, impossible to shake, you're starting to realize. seeing david and paul and the other three was enough to make you spiral and question your life choices as it is.
it begs the question; can you really trust them? who's to say they won't turn on you? get a little too hungry?
"hey, babe."
even dwayne's soothing voice makes you tense up.
you sit up fast, eyes widening as he trudges up the hill to you. his smile is warm, but it doesn't prevent you from sweating excessively.
"oh—uhm—hey, dwayne," you say, voice quiet.
dwayne's eyes are glued to you worriedly. you've never seen him look at you with such softness. mainly the kind you saw with laddie. "i'm worried. we're all worried. you seem distant," he hums, taking another step, which makes you take two back.
the grass crunches beneath your feet as you take steps back, nervously swallowing a bunch of saliva. "i'm fine," you push through gritted teeth, smiling unconvincingly. "you can go back now."
"did something happen? did we do anything?" the dark-haired beauty asks, reaching a hand to his heart.
"no, dwayne. i said no."
he takes a few more steps.
"you're never like this, c'mon, you can tell me—"
you scream at the top of your lungs.
from his constant stepping, and you stepping back, you eventually tripped off of the fucking cliff.
before you can feel the sudden rush of wind pelting down on you, strong hands wrap around your waist. dwayne caught you—why wouldn't he? he looks at you with so much fervor that you can feel yourself burning up. how he usually looks at you. he held you so tight, it reminded you of—
"are you okay?" he asks softly, eyes scanning over you to ensure you're not injured.
you, however, push away.
it reminds you too much of the nightmare. of how michael held you tightly, maybe even tighter than that.
"i'm fine, dwayne," you boom, your voice saying it like a demand as you avoid eye contact. "mind the space, yeah?"
and so, the vampire is left on the peak of the cliff, moonlight painting him as he hopelessly stares at your fleeting form. he had no clue what would ever make you act this way. but it was dwayne—he's thankful that he's the one that got this treatment rather than the others. even he knew he was the one most likely to help maintain your personal bubble.
so, he'll let you have this.
for now.
if the sun was enough to burn you, then you were surprised that the amount of lights on the boardwalk weren't extinguishingly hot.
you never got used to the loud screams of the people on rides, nor those bright flashing neon lights that surrounded you in the popular area. not only that, but the extreme claustrophobia regarding the crowds made you want to actually jump off that fucking cliff.
but there were no vampires around, so it wasn't that bad. you didn't know if you could ever step foot next to another vampire again—but maybe you'd allow star. maybe laddie when he's allowed to go out and do stuff by himself.
you breathe in the cigarette smoke and lingering scent of fried oreos. this is the same place that you've done everything with the boys you called your friends.
they're still your friends, of course. but it's hard. it's hard to face them.
"(name)."
it's star in all her glory, her curls shimmering under the neon signs. shes always looks so ethereal—a beacon. but, knowing her, she was most likely forced to be bait to lure you out of the crowds and into the arms of the group of vampires.
"oh. hey, star," you greet, smiling sadly. you keep your distance.
"look, i'm worried. and if i don't bring you over, then david'll find you. you know how he gets."
"you don't get it, star. that dream—that nightmare. they weren't themselves."
her eyebrows furrow. star reaches out and cups your cheek. "it was a nightmare. it wasn't real," she giggles lightly, trying to lighten the mood. that shit does not work. "you've lived with them and been surrounded by them by years. they'd never do anything targeting you negatively, or whatever that nightmare was."
you take a deep breath in. "i understand, star. i just need space, okay? i need to think about all of this."
"i don't know how david is gonna take that," star trails off, eyes drifting over to david, who was staring intently at the two of you from afar, leaning on his motorcycle.
"he doesn't have to."
you kiss her hand before walking off, submerging yourself in the crowds. she calls out to you numerous times, but you couldn't find it in yourself to turn around.
it's hard to ignore the piercing stares you get into the back of your head. honestly, you're not surprised that you already hear the boys bikes revving, booming loud, the noises crawling closer to you.
yeah, that wasn't menacing at all. five motorcycles stalking you and terrorizing a public space because they didn't know how to not put on a show.
the crowd gets thicker the closer you run to the street performers and food stands, weaving through people who yell at you without a care in the world.
they can't ride their motorcycles through the crowds. i'm guaranteed to lose them.
except for one minor detail. through one of the fun house mirrors placed outside for reference, you see the five motorcycles had disappeared entirely. and that lead to you hearing harsh revs below you. underneath the boardwalk.
you reach a clearing—because of course you do. the loud music is but a distant chirp. this part of the boardwalk was always quiet in it's own way. it was full of all of the things like kite stores and souvenirs—not quite popular enough to keep up with the thriving night life of santa carla.
and before you know it, the same five, familiar vehicles jump up from under the boardwalk, racing up and fully blocking your path. the way that david and the rest of him scanned you made you want to explode on the spot. he picks something from his teeth, licking them before looking directly at you.
"you knew we would find you, babe," he sighed. you couldn't help but notice how much gentler his tone was than usual.
"we just gotta know," michael follows up, pushing himself off his bike to move towards you. dwayne, who was riding next to him, stops the brunet before he can move further star and laddie watch with worry from david and dwayne's bikes. "what's going on? what did we do to deserve you looking at us like—like monsters?"
you grit your teeth. you might've even felt a vein pop. "you wouldn't fuckin' get it. it's personal stuff, okay?" your eyes narrow onto the sand-dusted wood of the boardwalk. "you… you aren't monsters." but your hesitation is apparent.
"then why are you avoiding us? you're gonna have to tell us eventually, sweetheart," paul hisses, holding his head in his hand.
"babe, you live with us. why not tell us now and get it over with, yeah?" you hear marko encourage, as his gaze flits to your fidgeting hands. he moves over, offering out his palm to hold. "i promise we won't be mad."
david, dwayne, paul, and michael nod in agreement with him, giving varied words of validity.
your face scrunches up with discomfort before eventually sighing. you take his hand hesitantly. "fine."
marko, holding your hand in his, walks you under the boardwalk with the rest of the boys, his bike in the other hand. now away from the bright lights and loud crowds, the seven (including star and laddie) look at you expectantly—patiently.
"star mentioned i had a… nightmare, right?" paul nods as a confirmation—you saw him before telling the others. "it… it wasn't a normal nightmare. it felt so real. i, uh, was in the hangout spot alone, and michael found me," you gesture and shift your gaze to him, "you held me in this suffocating hug that made it hard to breathe. i mean, i could breathe, but i couldn't.
"and then marko showed up. he just started biting me and tearing into…" the group of vampires watch you trail off. you wonder if they can physically see you ready to throw up from even outwardly recalling the dream. "you get it. and then paul, then dwayne, and finally you, david," you choke out.
"i'm sorry—"
"no, dwayne, it's not even any of your faults. you don't have to apologize for anything. i'm overreacting," you argue, covering your eyes with your hand. you want to cry so badly it's making you fucking delusional.
david steps forward almost immediately. you're already so hot and flushed from the summer air that when he puts his arms around you, you're automatically overheated from the leather jacket he wore. this is the worst combination ever—you're upset, annoyed, sweaty, and worst of all, actually enjoying this hug.
"(name). i want you to listen to me when i tell you that we will never, i mean never, do that," he breathes out onto your shoulder. "i… we, love you. and don't take that lightly coming from me."
michael moves over, then the others, and soon enough, even star and laddie come over and squeeze you into one massive hug that makes your eyes almost pop out of your skull.
"we don't ever want you to feel like you're not safe. now please, start crying so we can kiss ya' and make you feel better," paul exclaims, making you laugh loudly.
"okay, okay... just give me some room to breathe. you all smell like you haven't showered in months."
What do all the boys (+star) think of astrology, and how do those opinions affect a relationship with somone who's really into it?
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Hey guys! This is the thing I made a post about the other day where im making a series of headcanons (general leading into x reader) for The Lost Boys! Also decided to include star bc... Star 🌟
so these actually ended up being a little less x reader focused; like I feel like that element is still present, but its a lot of "what are their opinions on the thing!" alongside "how do they interact with the thing with their partner!"
But yeah I hope you like this! Once again let me know if you have any suggestions for other letters, and this work is VERY inspired by darjeelingdreams' own alphabets on AO3, so if you like this, I highly recommend going to read their books!
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
. 🍾 David! 🍾 .
Okay so does not belive in it and lowkey thinks its kinda stupid lol
Like he sort of sees the appeal, but also is the "stars are just burning balls of gas, they can't read your future or predict how youre gonna turn out" mentality
He wouldn't outwardly bully somone he knows for believing in it - especially his partner - but will definitely tease and poke fun at the whole thing ("Oh, did your magazine collumn tell you that?")
Would mock strangers or victims if he knows people who aren't insane about it are around. Hes just an asshole like that man idk
Slightly judging you depending on how hard-core you are about it but as long as its not harming him or your relationship he doesn't really care
On a side note, if you tried to break things off over astrology (ie "I checked and our signs aren't really compatible, sorry :(" ) he would lowkey have a mini crashout. Because what do you mean your letting a paragraph in a magazine - probably written by an overworked intern whos just making stuff up - determine the course of our relationship? Wtf are you talking about??
If you do try to tell him his horoscope he will go out of his way to not listen to it, especially if it gets a rise out of you. He's a dick, he wants to see you get agitated or even freak out depending on what the horoscope says ("Relax, hon, im not gonna die just because your collumn says otherwise. I literally cant.")
Overall, he definitely doesn't belive in it, but he'll humor his partner if they really care that much. He's just naturally sort of strange and taunting to everybody, you're gonna have to get used to it
. 🎸 Paul! 🎸 .
Kind of a wildcard, but I think he actually knows more than you'd assume at first?
Like, he's been with A LOT of people (well, they all have, but i think even then Paul is lowkey a man-whore) and based on some of the crowd on the boardwalk, it's literally impossible to me that he hasn't been with at least one person who kept yapping at him about horoscopes and planetary alignment and shit (even if they did become a meal before the sun came up)
Isn't going to go out of his way to learn more about it, but if someone started talking about it he wouldn't stop them, especially if they're his friend or partner
If he's dating you and your into it, he'd listen to you talk about it and read yalls horoscopes with you and stuff.
Likes to read those couples horoscopes when he finds them. Will straight up laugh and call it stupid if they say anything not in his favor tho
Star made up this game where she'll guess people's signs without knowing anything about them, and he definitely gets ypu in on it. Like he'll point to a stranger and be like "you know what that guy is?"
Every now and again hell come back to the cave slightly bloody with a smile on his face and just goes "babe you were right he told me so! :3"
He's probably a Leo. I dont make the rules he just is now.
. 🛹 Dwayne! 🛹 .
I wouldn't say he's into it, but he has a fair amount of knowledge about it
Remembers a lot of the stories and things he was told about stars and the sky from when he was a kid, and will tell you all about it if you asked ("Oh, that kind of sounds similar to this story my parents told me when I was a kid. You want to hear it? Okay, so-")
One of the only people to occasionally try to talk with star about it bc he knows shes really into it all
Thinks its cool how people still sort of care about the stars and stuff, and seeing how people from all over the place and all different times have diffrent stories and knowledge about space
I feel like he wouldn't really belive horoscopes could predict the future, but he would think it can't just be a coincidence that some people's personalities line up surprisingly well with their signs
Like he figured out his and the boy's, looked arojnd at them, and was like "... yeah no that checks out pretty well actually. Huh."
Also a player of the sign guessing game, but he ends up overthinking it and being unsure if nobody else saying anything
Like I headcanon that apart of why hes quieter is because he's a thinker and an observer and hes busy o b s e r v i n g, so he accidentally psychoanalizes the person's every move ("okay so that statement was such a Taurus thing to say, but theyre walking like a Gemini, and- oh wait they kinda look like a scorpio shit-"
In the end if you participate he'll usually agree with your answer lmao
.🩸Marko!🩸.
Another one who doesn't really belive in it but also doesn't care if you do. He's a lot less of a dick about it compared to David though
Its less that he thinks its dumb, and more that he sort of just sees it as somthing people made up to pass the time
Like if he's bored and sees someone reading them, he'll peer their shoulder to see if he can read his or somone else's. May make a teasing remark or two if he feels like it ("Damn, Paul, yours says you're gonna get negative game tonight-" cue paul shoving him and a playful scuffle ensuing)
The most into he'd get is holding up his pigeons and asking you "what sign do you think he is, babe?"
Might take you stargazing as a date since he knows astrology is all about the stars and stuff.
Gets in on the sign game when he finds out you really like
He basically just doesn't take any of it very seriously and only cares for it as a way to pass the time. He likes it more if you like it though
. 🌠 Star! 🌠 .
Oh she definitely knows a thing or two about a thing or two
I absolutely think star is very witchy but like, on the down-low? Like she's not a full on witch but she definitely owns tarot cards and is pretty superstitious and believes in astrology (to an extent)
Its more of a fun thing for her, especially after she starts living with the boys. Like, she knew about it before, but then she starts to learn more about it and gets invested and pretty soon she's reading her and the boys' horoscopes for fun.
The most serious she really gets reading somebody's is seeing somthing happen to them and either thinking or saying "ok so it said that was gonna happen in your horoscope today..."
Listens to her's mostly out of caution + a superstitious thing (especially if its more of a cautionary one, dosnt want to take any chances)
Got scarily good at guessing people's. Like somone will do somthing or say somthing and in her head she's instantly like "Oh thats a Capricorn if I've ever seen one"
During one of her hangouts with Micheal (like when she pierces his ear in the novelization) she asked him what his sign was and when he answered she deadass just muttered "yeah, thought so. It makes the most sense" and didn't ever elaborate. Dude was confused but too afraid of fumbling to really push her about it
Likes to read her and her partners together, especially if she finds one for your guy's signs together. Loves the closeness of cuddling over a magazine or newspaper to see what your future together allegedly holds. Smiles and giggles with you when its good, then rolls her eyes and says somthing along the lines of "this stuff is just made up for fun anyways, its never 100% accurate" when its not
As I said in previous parts, at some point she made up a game of guessing people's on the boardwalk's zodiac signs. She likes playing with other people though, thinks its more fun when there's multiple opinions floating around than everything just being in her head.
Thats how the others found out about it actually. She played every now and again with Dwayne when they were alone on the boardwalk, and a game of telephone made the others boys aware of it
She didnt know it spread, however, and was very confused (a bit shocked, even) when she was standing with Paul one day and he just pointed at a guy and went "hey, girl, you think that guy's an Aries?"
I can't really see her breaking up with somone over it. Again, this is more of a fun hobby thing for her, and I don't think she'd ever take it that seriously.
Could lowkey see her astrology as an excuse to not go out and do things if she wasnt in the mood every now and again ("I can't go out tonight, Mercury's in retrograde again :/")
Tbh I think she just really likes space and astrology is an extension of that, there's a reason she's going by Star

And done!! I hope you liked them!
Sorry if these feel a little ooc, im still trying to find my footing with writing for the rest of the cast, but I feel like this is both really fun to write and a good exercise! Hopefully i got the general vibe of them down enough
If yall have any ideas for other letters or any other feedback, please let me know! Im always open for constructive criticism so I can improve my writing :3
I hope you have a good day/night, and ill see you in B!!
imagine being star and stripe's cute little quirkless secretary. you've been with her since the beginning, helping her in her rise to the top over the years.
it's just a professional relationship, you tell anyone who asks. star deals with the hero side of things, and you deal with the business side of things. you work well together. you spend more late tonights together at the office than you can count- star always brings your favorite takeout when you have to work late, as an apology and thank you both.
of course you love her. how could you not? how could you work by her side for decades and not fall in love with her?
and here's the wonderful part: she loves you too. sometimes, you'll go out onto the roof together, just the two of you, the cold night air giving you an excuse to cuddle up close to her... and she'll set a new rule. that you can fly. you, the quirkless little secretary. she'd give you the stars if you asked for it.
Rxhubibkvucuhi TLB HC BUT ITS ONLY MICHAEL AND STAR X READER-😦😦😦😦😦😦 (also how ya doin pookie??)

You and star had gotten together when she got turned. You were already a full vampire so you wanted to help star get her first kill.
The night you met Michael, she had run up to you at the motorcycles, and as you helped her on the back of yours, she pointed out Michael, who had followed her from the concert.
When you and her got back to the cave, she was non-stop talking about how cute she thought he was and how he seemed perfect, and you had to agree.
Though you were a bit skeptical at first
So the next night, you both approached him at the boardwalk, and after talking to him, you were also enchanted. and the rest is history.
You guys are adorable together. But you and Star love to tease the shit out of Michael to the Point. I almost feel bad for him.
(He doesnt want any pitty though he loves that shit.)
Hes yalls bitch pretty much. Like if you are fem, people will make jokes about how it must be nice having to girls to boss around and you three just laugh cause yall know damn well it's you and star bossing him around.
Get it bitch
You and star are very silly together and with Michael which helps bring him out of his shell a little.
And you both absolutely adore when he lets loose and has fun with you both.
You guys drag this poor man across the boardwalk to every ride, shop, and restaurant.
You and Michael tend to argue about who pays, and Star just sits and giggles at you both like the princess she is. (she secretly pays while you both argue)
Michael likes to give you both piggyback rides around the boardwalk, depending on whose feet start hurting first.
Michael is a horrible dancer. But he will let you both drag him onto a dance floor and actually attempt to be halfway decent.
You guys laugh at him a bit, but he doesn't mind as long as you guys are happy.
To be fair, he mostly likes to be on the side watching you two dance together. It just makes him unbelievably happy when you guys are having fun.
Along with this, Michael and Star both love to pamper you, and they almost make one upping each other a game that they both enjoy.
They will leave you in the nest and start bringing you random shit ranging from cozy blankets to skincare to a stereo, and at the end, you all just curl up together.
Oh, and don't think you don't join in on this. You love pampering them as well. But in your own way, you will buy them gifts or make them stuff and just leave it out for them to find, leaving them guessing on which one actually gave it to them.
You find it hilarious but love watching them enjoy what you give.
Speaking of,cuddling with them is so peak.
Michael, even as a vampire, is strangely warm still. Nobody knows why, but it makes cuddling him so nice. You and star often lay on each side of him covered in many blankets while playing with either each other's hair or his.
Either this or halfway through, he is fighting for his life, trying not to get shoved off the bed/couch by you both it can really go either way 😭
Also He loves getting his hair messed with, and so does she. Between these two, you can practice any hairstyle you want on them cause they love seeing the different looks they can pull off.
Also, hunting is really fun with them. But I will say that because michael is still a bit new to it all, he's not the biggest fan of hunting yet. And Star just really hates having to kill, but she knows she doesn't really have a choice anymore
But luckily, you got that covered. They will get there eventually, but for now, you are content with doing a majority of the work for them because you know it can be rough. But they help as much as they can.
Stars the bait, she goes out while you and Michael hang back, and she lures the unsuspecting victim away.
These two aren't really into the brutal killing like the others, so if you are,you tone it down a bit with them and make it quick and easy.
Sometimes, though, you will have them take the actual kill after you get the person pretty beat so they can get used to it.
It does make them a bit squeamish, but michael is getting a bit better about it. Star, on the other hand, greatly struggles, and you often feel a bit bad after cause she just seems distraught about it.
After feeding sometimes they feel kinda guilty about it as well so it's up to you to try to cheer them up.
One time star felt so bad about leaving one of the bodies out in the middle of the woods, and you and micheal actually dug a grave and buried the person. Which made her feel a bit better.
She ever made them a little headstone out of a rock and left flowers on it.
It's really a lot of small things like that that make you all work so well together.
There's no judgements, and everybody is allowed to just be themselves, no pressure.
It's a very loving relationship, and you three tend to bring out the best in each other, even when it gets rough.
You guys keep each other sane to be fair, and with that being said.
The boys are very good at influencing people, and so sometimes Michael comes back from hanging out with them having an attitude.
Yall get it, trust me, you do, but that shit doesn't fly, pookie.
You and Star are really good at shutting his Lil attitude out the door Hella quickly.
Like not in a mean way, but sometimes you guys correct him just so that he has to think about how he's acting before moving on, and it works a lot of the time.
But if you have more of a temper, you and him may argue a little bit.
star doesn't put up with that. She doesn't join in or pick sides. She just lets yall know how immature and childish it is to be arguing over stupid shit.
And you both don't wanna piss her off.
she knows damn well that she doesn't have to put up with anything she doesn't want to and she will clock both of you guys in a second and walk out leaving you two to sit and think about your actions.
She is that bitch 💅🏻
She's has you both wrapped around her finger and she knows it so I don't think it even really get that far alot of the time.
Mainly due to the fact that she's just a very calming presence to be around, so if you both get a bit jumpy before getting upset, she will try to sweetly calm people down.
And she is extremely effective.
I fucking love them so much I cant 😭🖤
But that's about all I can think of right now, though I hope you enjoy it! Maybe one day I'll make a little one shot of them 🖤 sorry its a little short

I can't promise I return, but I will try to write at least from time to time, because there are way too much interesting things I planned somewhere in the past and many different and interesting requests
But for today, in honour of my birthday (yey, 27 and still depressed!), decided to post the thing I started writing way before my long depression fall and disappearance. Hope you will somewhat enjoy it)
Lost Boys with Russian Rock songs
David
Chaos was normal, usual deal in their cave. Marko and Paul argued about something meaningless as always, while the loud music was blasting from the boombox. Dwayne only watched the arguement, but here and then he added fuel to the fight, edging them more and more. He wasn't a willing participant, but he did like to watch the chaos unfold.
David watched them indifferently. He almost didn't pay attention to them. His thoughts were elsewhere. Not always he got in this state, and yet today was exactly the day for that.
I am not myself, my trail is lost
I'm buried completely in the sands of time
It was so long ago. It was so far away that sometimes it felt like a dream. But David knew the truth. He knew that was all but a dream. It was all real. Y/N was real, but so far away from him now... It was his fault, as he reminded himself exactly on this day once a year. David could not keep the track of the time and dates all the rest of the year, but this day was burned in his heart. Engraved into his brain. Some wild part of him knew it was the day, even without looking at any calendar.
"You are alright?" David looked at Dwayne, who watched him attentively, noticing his sullen silence. Almost cautious and wary Dwayne, always there and ready to support... His voice was almost inaudible in the loud cave, and yet David had heard him perfectly. Blonde nodded, standing up from his place.
"I am gonna walk a bit." He responded quietly as well. Marko and Paul continued their bickering, as David left the cave. They didn't need his thoughts, they didn't need his pain. His self-hate. It was all his to dwell on.
He flew to the Boardwalk silently and quickly. As far as he could from the boys. He wandered around people, igniting his cigarette. He didn't see people around himself, as he wondered aimlessly, surrounded by loud noises and music. He remembered it was loud that night too.
It was a fair. And he, mortal little boy, who just got out of the family house and got his first job... How proud of himself and how naive he was back then. David remembered music, children's laughter and fair games. He was watching the fun all around, as it became night. That was when he noticed them. Y/N. Beautiful, nocturnal. They came with night, bringing coldness of their skin and their musical voice in his life.
He didn't remember the bite. He remembered pain and then blissfull coolness and numbness that took over his body. David remembered them. Their laughter and eyes, flickering from their usual colour to yellow. He remembered their embraces and kisses. Cold and biting and at the same time irresistable.
Poison torments my soul with a temptation
Y/N was like a dream. They were perfect, they answered all his questions. They were loving and caring, and David almost forgot they turned him forcefully.
"You are just lost. My sweet lost boy." They cooed, embracing David before going to sleep, entangled together in the cave.
He learned how to see and divide people from non-humans pretty quickly. That was how he learned that Max, who he thought was just the man, who started the fair, was a vampire as well. And man wasn't willing to let go of David.
"They forced you into this, David. And now they are just trying to force you to stay with them. Can't you see that?" Max told him, seeing him feed on one of the nights. David didn't believe him. Y/N was sweet. They were kind. They loved him.
But he was right. Y/N loved him and was sweet, but minor inconvinience or something not going in the way they wanted, and sweet and nice facade was breaking down. They immediately tore any enemy or human in pieces, terrifying David, still new to all of it.
I sold my dreams and revelations,
Destiny has my salvation in its hands
He was becoming more mature with every day, with every night, when he had to feed. But constant Max' nagging and constant Y/N's nerves were getting to him. And in the end, quiet, calm and insistent Max won. He promised more calm life, more hidden and not open, dangerous lifestyle.
Eternal Ethereal Stranger
Would be able to save me
David stopped at the railings. He looked at the beach. At people walking there. He saw them. Almost every year he saw them. In the girl, whose laughter sounded like music. In the boy, who got angry and fought someone. In sweet delicate blood he took from his victims. In the lovers he found for the night, and whose embraces were sweet at least for some time. Almost like theirs...
His mind was betraying him, and every time he saw some traits of theirs in other people, his dead heart was flattering in his chest. He remembered them and almost believed it was them every time, as if some madman. That they were alive somehow. And guilt was eating at him alive.
She is devoted to me
And she is betrayed by me
He should have stayed with them. Or rather left with them. But he decided to choose Max. More stable, more calm, promising him family and strength at the same time. David left them and went to Max.
Y/N came for him. They came, trying to reason, sure that Max spoiled his mind with lies. Confident that David needed saving from him. They embraced David, happy, that he was alive, that he was alright. And he staked them.
Their surprised and pained eyes, betrayal and hurt in their face still haunted his nightmares for many years to come. He never forgot how limp and even colder than ever they felt in his arms. He hated himself immediately for that choice.
He couldn't change it. The day of their death was the day of his hate towards himself began. Flourishment of his pain and anguish. David wanted to touch them just once more. Just hold them and know he was safe. But he killed them. Boy lowered his head, closing his eyes. Cigarette burned in his fingers, almost burning his skin. And yet he didn't move.
"It seems to me you are still lost, my sweet boy." He snapped his head, turning around to see their smiling face and oh so familiar silhouette. But once David stepped forward, there was noone before him. He was going crazy, he thought, stepping back and sitting on the deck. They couldn't be alive. It was his mind punishing him for everything that he did. And yet he sensed their smell.
David would see them again, he thought, burning another cigarette. No matter if it would be in his pained mind, a year from that day, on another day of his worst mistake. Or in the other person's traits. Or if they would be alive by some miracle
He would see his eternal ethereal stranger once again.
Dwayne
You had been sitting with your friend for a long time. He was very insistent that you needed to meet up. You agreed with him, so now you sat at some bar, catching up on some news.
But your attention wasn't on him. You looked at some biker in the corner of the bar, who sat with his three friends. Tall brunette with deep dark stare... He was just your type.
"Earth to Y/N, hello!" Will snapped his fingers before your face. You looked up at him again and smiled.
"Sorry, I... Got distracted." You glanced at the biker one last time. You already met him couple of nights ago in the bookstore. But now his eyes were different. Almost darker... Hungrier...
"Oh hell no. Y/N, not another bad choice in the guys. He is the walking red flag! Like the one on his belt" Will groaned, noticing your stare at the bikers.
"Don't worry, I doubt he would consider me seriously. Dwayne is good though, but only as a friend." You noticed, sipping on your drink. You didn't lie to yourself. He was hot, he was dark bad boy. He had way better choices than you. And you could only hope to be a good friend. Or at least an acquaintance.
"Please, don't fall for his charms. The dude is pratically bad news. I heard nothing good about him or his friends. Fights, disappearances and broken hearts following them around." Will said to you, looking at you, fully convinced in his words and trying to convince you of it as well. You knew that he had your best interests in heart, and yet you thought he was overreacting just a tiny bit.
"Will, you are paranoid. If I listened to you, I would be locked up at home and was afraid of every person that lived on the Earth."
"But you would be alive." Your friend scoffed. He put a hand on your hand. "I am just worried. They are bad news. I mean, dude is walking with his bare chest out in the open, he is practically walking girls' magnet."
"Are you jealous that you are less attractive?" You chuckled. Will glanced at the biker and rolled his eyes.
"I would have attracted more girls than him anyway. I am smart and can speak with girls." He scoffed. You nodded, your face expression almost mocking him.
"Right... Because girls can see your wits before they see his tits." You joked. It had to be a coincidence, that Dwayne's company laughed at the table right after your phrase. Will kicked your leg under the table in retort.
You parted your ways late, after the midnight. You waved your goodbye to Will, promising you would get home safely. You lived not so far away from the Boardwalk, so you walked there by foot. You were strolling along the road, when you heard the roar of the motorbike behind you. You glanced around, seeing Dwayne slowing down near you.
It is a pity that you couldn't believe me that day
That your new friend isn't like everybody else
"Hello, Princex." He smirked at you. You smiled in response, not really stopping. "Need a ride?"
"I live not far from here, thank you." You looked at him, meeting with his dark eyes.
"But I can see how tired you are and how pained your legs are." Dwayne said in a low voice. Strangely, you didn't notice it before, but as soon as Dwayne told you that, you felt heaviness on your shoulders and you breathed out heavily.
"Alright, you can give me a ride." You agreed with a slight smile, getting on Dwayne's bike behind him, as he smirked. You explained to him where to ride, as the bike started from the spot. Soon he already parked at your house. You got off his bike, as Dwayne did the same.
"I must ensure that noone would snatch you as you walk to the door." Biker said. You laughed at that, smacking his shoulder.
"Oh, and they say knights are gone." You joked, walking to your front door, Dwayne following closely behind you. As you opened the door, you stepped inside, contemplating if you should or should not act on your thoughts. You turned to Dwayne, who stood on the porch. "How about some tea? I have no coffee and I don't really drink anything strong."
"Sounds good." Dwayne nodded, but made no move to step inside your house. You looked at him strangely, Will's warning still in the back of your head, before tugging on his hand.
"You already here, don't be shy, come inside." Dwayne immediately gave in and went inside. You closed the door behind him, leading the boy to the kitchen in the empty and quiet house they were alone at.
"You live alone?" He asked, looking around your kitchen, as you took out two cups for the tea. You nodded in response, putting on the kettle.
"Yep."
"Isn't it too dangerous?" He asked, stepping closer to you. You laughed, pouring you both tea.
"Why should living alone be dangerous? I know we live in 'Murder capital of the world' and yet you can't seriously thinking that there are some monsters in our town." You gave him cup, taking yours and smiling at Dwayne, who watched you carefully and without any smirk. Almost too serious.
"You don't believe in monsters." He didn't ask, just stated a fact. You sipped on your tea, shrugging a bit in response. You stepped away from him and turned your back to him, facing the counter again, as he watched you, almost not blinking.
You stayed with him alone, not knowing anything about him
You don't care about the fact
That he is dangerous for everybody
"Monsters are real. Maybe I am one." He said, his voice low and serious. You chuckled, shaking your head.
"You are knight in shining armour, you are not some mon..." You turned to look at him and... His eyes were red. You stepped back, watching in shock and horror as his whole face transformed and morphed into something horrible. Your hands let go of the cup, letting it fall down and shatter, as you stumbled back.
"I thought you said there are no monsters." Dwayne smirked, as you saw fangs in his mouth. You acted before you could realise it, running away from him, as he laughed coldly. You ran to your bedroom, locking the door. You had a phone, maybe you could help someone for help. But as you turned to the table, where the phone was, you bumped into Dwayne's chest. His hands tightly gripped your shoulders.
"No!" You exclaimed, struggling in his grip. He easily grasped your waist with one hand, the cold fingers of another hand gripped your chin, forcing you to look at him.
And you got into real warlock's hands
He ruined more than one like you!
"Look at me, Y/N!" He demanded. You tried to fight him, but he was like a wall, impossible to move or fight. "Look. At. Me!" His voice was almost a growl, as you looked into his red eyes.
Strange weakness overwhelmed you. He was some kind of monster. Someone who would easily kill you, and yet you felt some kind of relief. Some kind of freedom in his hands. As your struggled subsided, his grip on you loosened, as he put both of his hand on yur waist, caressing your sides.
"That is it... Don't worry. It is alright, princex... I promise I won't hurt you much. I will take you with me and everything would be good. You want me to take you with me, right?" He asked, his voice dropping to almost whisper. You nodded.
"Right..." You whimpered, her voice quiet. Your heart was racing in your chest, and yet you were slowly calming down.
"Good... You will be like me. Strong, beautiful, free. You want it." He said, leaning closer to you.
He can control you like a puppet in the night hour now
"I want it." You repeated. Last thing you remembered - Dwayne's grin and his cold laughter, before everything you could feel - pain in your neck, resonating along your body.
Paul
You sat on your bed, rubbing your eyes with a heavy sigh. You couldn't sleep as of late. You felt tired, as sleep hadn't come to you at all at the last nights. Always nightmares and no calmness or relaxation.
Growling, crimson blood everywhere, the closeness of some beast. Always one and the same nightmare. You sighed, lowering your legs on the floor, hiding your face in your hands with a groan. You wanted just a peaceful sleep. Not something like that.
I am here, I came to you
Came despite the destiny
Once again after this dream you felt someone's presence in your room. And yet you knew that if you look around or even turn on the lighting, you wouldn't see anyone. How many times you already tried to find some kind of intruder and how many times you remained just a silly paranoid person, who couldn't find anyone. You sighed, standing up. In the nearest hour you wouldn't fall asleep again, that much you knew.
You turned the light on, going to the kitchen, your bare feet making sounds, as you walked across your flat to your kitchen, that was lit only by the moonlight, shining through the window. You poured yourself some water, sighing. You didn't know what all of that meant, no matter how much you tried to understand or analyse this dream.
What beastly presence was it? Why so much blood? Was there any meaning at all to any of it? Or was it all just a freaking coincidence with how much horror movies you watched and how hard you worked at your job? Perhaps it was just a dream without any meaning. But then, why so repetitive?
Moonlight pours from heaven
I am a Beast, I have no rest
You never saw the figure that chased you. You just... Knew it was some beast. The beast that would eat you whole, that was nothing but death, unmoving, unflinching, unavoidable. And at the same time... It never touched you in the dream. You sighed heavily, leaning onto the counter.
"Why should I see that?! I ask of one night of sleep, is that so hard?" You groaned, closing your eyes, addressing noone in particular.
I sneak in the darkness, like a shadow
Cursing the daytime in my soul
Your head snapped up, as you heard the creak of the floorboards. That wasn't something you made up. That wasn't some 'mysterious presence'. That was a sound. Loud and clear, physical.
You could swear there was someone else in your flat. Now, for real.
You looked around, opening the drawer next to you to take out the knife. At least you should have some kind of weapon to protect yourself with. You carefully and slowly went into the corridor. You looked around, wishing to turn on the light.
But as you were about to turn on the light, someone pushed you to the wall. You groaned, pushing the attacker away and stepping back into the kitchen. You could see the silhouette of some man in your kitchen. He had something in his hand, and you guessed it was a knife.
"If you scream, I will kill you." He warned you in whisper. You pressed your lips together, looking at him warily, squeezing your fingers on the handle of your knife. You would definitely lose the fight, you weren't exactly that much efficiet with the knife, other than chopping some vegetables, but damn if you wouldn't try to protect yourself.
"Dude, I had a terrible day. And even worse sleep. Please, get out and I will forget all about it. And won't even call anyone." You hissed in response. The man groaned and stepped to you. You stepped away and noticed how the itnruder suddenly froze in his tracks.
There is a shadow of the Beast behind you
You are together always and everywhere
"What the hell is that?!" He exclaimed. You didn't have the time to ask what he was talking about, hearing the growl behind you.
You didn't have time to turn around. That something that was growling behind you, immediately pushed you aside with the strength that made you fall to the floor.
Next thing you knew, you heard scream of this guy and shattering of the glass. When you raised your head, all you could see - emptiness in your kitchen and corridor and shards of broken glass from the now broken window. There was no intruder or anyone else for that matter in your flat anymore other than you. Only broken glass on the floor and heavy, almost deadly silence.
Your heart was beating out of your chest, while you tried to process everything. Was it your... "Beast"? Jumping from your spot, you rushed to the window, but there was noone on the ground aside from shards of broken glass. Like nothing had ever happened at all. You stepped back, your shoulders falling in exhaustion. You couldn't wrap your head around what was going on and had just happened. Especially after the lack of sleep. You groaned, looking down at the shuttered glass. You thought it would be better to clean it at once and not delay this.
Now believe me
This beast is Me
You had to clean it up and have some sleep. At least some of it. You and your close friend Paul was going to meet tomorrow, you couldn't be sleepy, when you two hang out. He didn't like it.
Paul agreed with your decision to go to sleep, licking his tainted bloody fingers, as he watched you through the window, floating above your flat.
Marko
You wandered around the Boardwalk, trying to distract yourself from your everyday problems. From problems at home with parents, from problems at your summer job, from petty drama and problems with your friends. You wanted to applicate for the college, and yet you were still doubting everything, plus lack of money didn't help.
In your thoughts you wandered to the beach away from the main crowds. You glanced back at the Boardwalk. Nothing could happen. Like, surely, Santa-Carla was "Murder capital of the world" and all other things, but you didn't think it was that bad. Or perhaps you just got used to it.
You walked around, listening to the ocean and night silence, when... You heard some scream. So horrible and bloodcurdling, that you froze on your spot. You glanced in the direction of the scream.
I have a dream, that creatures with glowing eyes
Tore into my wings high in the sky
You shivered, stepping closer to the source of scream at first. But rational part of your brain won. "Idiot, what are you doing? If there is someone screaming so loudly and desperately, what makes you think you wouldn't scream next?" You stepped away at once. The screams stopped and silence that followed was deafening.
You stepped away again. Once, twice. Before you just turned around and started running. You ran across the beach, your feet sinking into soft sand, but you tried your best to be quiet.
Once you heard cold cruel laughter high above your head, you understood that you failed in being quiet.
You were suddenly swapped in someone's hands. You screamed, fighting someone's strong grip. You felt coldness and wind as you... Flew? You struggled in his (you only guessed it was he) grip, trying to free yourself.
"Little birdie wants to fly?" Sinister chuckle sounded right in your ear. You smack the creature in the face, making him drop you. You fell down quickly, hearing... Screams and argument?
I fell down awkwardly, like I am fallen angel
I don't remember the fall, I only remember
Dull thud on the cold stones
You woke up hours later. Your whole body was aching. You looked up at the still dark sky, not understanding what had happened. You couldn't remember what had happened.
Slowly you sat up on the ground, groaning. Every movement made you feel awful and nauseous. You pressed your hands into your face, only now noticing that... Your sleeves were tore up. Some of your clothes was bloodied. You furrowed your brows.
Air. Fall. Laughter and screams.
You slowly were remembering. Those creatures... You jumped to your feet and instantly regretted it. You bent over, closing your eyes, as your chest and stomach responded with pain and spasm. After several seconds you slowly opened your eyes again.
It had to be a dream. Should some creatures attack you and drop you from the height, you would have been dead, right? You had to think logically. You leaned onto the tree... How did you get from the beach in the forest was another question, one of myriad swirling in your head. You carefully and slowly stepped down the path. It had to be a dream. And you just got drunk and didn't remember it. It had to be
Straight down, to the place where we hungrily looked up
At the blue sky
You followed stars that you could see up high. They were blinking and shining so bright... You never thought the night could be so bright, that your eyes hurt from the mere look at it.
You were slow in your movements, clutching your middle and leaning onto the trees for support. With every step of your way you felt yourself a little bit better. Your body slowly stopped feeling sore and painful. And yet it changed into burning.
You burned from inside out, like it was your blood that burned your body. The burning was especially strong in your throat. You put a hand on your neck, rubbing it, as if it could help it. In your discomfort you didn't notice the steep cliff you went closer and closer to. You stumbled down, falling right off of it, into the opening, the night sky high above you.
"Hey!" You suddenly heard someone's voice that was extremely loud for you for some reason. You slowly turned your head to see the boy with curly blonde hair in colourful jacket. "You good? Need any help?"
Straight down, to the place where we come out from
With hope for a new life
"I think so..." You answered in a whisper, but the boy heard you. He grinned, you could see it in the night light perfectly for some reason. He gave you his hand, helping you stand up on your feet.
"You look... Rough. Don't worry though. I am Marko. I will help you." The boy promised you, as you finally let yourself fall asleep once again, falling right into his hands.
Michael
Michael sat in the kitchen. The coffee had already cooled down, and now sat in his mug almost sadly. He looked down at it, memories of the days long gone swirling in his mind.
Boys were gone. Well, at least he thought so. Mother was peacefully living her old age somewhere on the beach, Sam disappeared after his graduation. And Michael and Star lived together in some house in Florida. They started a family and were still... Not very good in it.
"Michael?" Star appeared in the door of the kitchen, turning up the light. He squinted his eyes, blinking several times and getting used to the light. "Why are you up?"
"Couldn't sleep." He shook his head, forcing a smile out of himself. Star sighed, stepping closer.
If you wanted to say something to me for a long time
Just say it
"I wanted to speak with you actually. You are... Not like yourself lately." Star said, going to the table and sitting near Michael. Man sighed.
"What did you want to say?"
"That you are not yourself now, Michael." Star said with a sigh. "You sleep little, you are silent almost all the time. What is wrong? Tell me, please."
"I just... Think a lot about the past and everything." He tried to explain. Star sighed, putting her hand on top of his.
"Michael, it is in the past. How long will you remember Santa-Carla for? They are all gone. David, Paul, Dwayne, Marko, Y/N, they are dead. They can't touch us anymore. How can you still think of them?" She looked at him slightly frustrated and annoyed, as she spoke with Michael.
"You don't understand." Michael sighed, taking his hand away. How could he explain all of the things that was in his head, in his heart? No, she couldn't understand what was between him and Y/N, between him and the boys. She just wanted to get away from them. To forget all about it and never mention it again, to forget it like some simple nightmare dream.
"You always say that, but never explain." Star groaned. She leaned back. "Michael, please..."
"No, it is of no use." He shook his head, standing up and going away. He couldn't explain this to Star. She wouldn't understand. She didn't understand it back then and wouldn't understand now. Michael locked himself in his bedroom. Not long ago he and Star stopped sharing one room. Perhaps it was all in his mind...
Any sound is deceptive
"Michael..."
He turned around. It was as if he had heard your voice. You were the only spot in the whole story with the boys that remained light and warm. Michael breathed out. How many times he imagined taking you with him? Saving you?
He went to the bed, taking the box from under it. There were little things, reminding him of the past. T-shirt from mom. Jacket from Sam, who disappeared recently. Old things from grandpa's house and... Your letter.
Several simple lines. With how you can't wait to hang out with him again. Something about the shenanigans of the boys, apology for something Paul did... It all seemed so far away.
But he silence is so much more scarier
Michael moved his fingers, almost caressing old paper. Line, where you wrote a number. Phone number. Shop, that you were frequent at. Where he could call and ask for you. Oh, how you spoke for hours, at nights when he stayed at home. He smiled sadly and lowered his head.
He wanted to hear your voice just once more. Just one word, and he would be calm. And nightmares would stop. But... You were dead. You were gone with the boys... It was impossible dream.
As if in the dream, he took the phone. Michael looked at the phonesilently for some time. He didn't say anything, as he dialed the number. He still looked at the phone, as the beeps were heard from the phone.
And there are still only beeps in the phone
Even after all these years
He put the phone to his ear, almost scared to hear something else. What was he doing anyway? The number could have been terminated after all those years. Or it could have been given to another business rather than this little shop. And even if it was still this shop... What was he going to say? You were dead, it had been years.
"Chen's Corner, good night." He heard a woman's voice on the other side. Still the same place. Almost the same voice. Michael felt like a teenager once again. "Hello?"
"Hi, I... Um..." He was dumbfounded, feeling himself stupid. Why would he call a chinese restaurant across the country from him? What would he even say? "I... I am Michael. Michael Emerson and..."
"Oh! Just a minute." He furrowed his brows, hearing the sound as if the phone was placed down on the counter. What was going on, Michael wondered, almost forgetting about his worries and depressing thoughts. In a minute there was another sound, as if the phone was taken from the counter.
"Michael?" Came the voice, and Michael felt his blood running cold. It couldn't be real. It couldn't be... "I know you think you went crazy, but..."
"Y/N... You... You are dead..." He mumbled, looking at the wall before him, not even realising what he was saying or thinking anymore.
"I am not. Otherwise, you would be in the madhouse." You chuckled on the other side of the line. Michael instinctively smiled in response. "It is a long story. If you want to, you can come back. And I will tell you everything. Or... You can just hang up and never return or talk to me again. After all it had been years..."
"Y/N, I... Wait for me, alright? Even if you are a vision and I am going crazy, wait for me, please." He pleaded quietly, holding the phone in his hand tightly. You only chuckled on the other side of the phone.
"Then you should hurry probably. I can already tell you are giddy, just from the voice alone. I will wait for you, Mikey..." She mused with a giggle, before hanging up.
It was madness. He was married. He lived several states away from California now. He grew up from being a teenager. He had a family. He had a life. And yet the mere sound of your voice. The only thought and possibility that he could see you again was enough for him to return to that old 'Mikey' boy.
And someone will slam the door somewhere
And the wires will tremble
He was gathering his things almost as if he was in some dreamy fog. Simple one bag with necessities. Sleepy, angry and frustrated and worried Star, trying to stop him and screaming at him to stop. Yet Michael still slammed the door behind him, as he strided to his old bike. A bit rusty, but still in riding condition.
Road was long, exhausting. Crazy for one person to go through alone. And yet he rode and rode, with rare stops for sleep and for more fuel, ignoring calls from Star on his simple cellphone. When he passed familiar sign of 'Welcome to Santa-Carla', his heart was beating out of his chest as loud as possible.
It was as if the time and progress walked past Santa-Carla. Same old shops, fairs, attractions... Only people wore slightly different things now and some of them had cellphones. But mostly town remained the same.
Michael spent the rest of the day on the beach, his bike laying near him, as he just sat and watched the ocean, full of thoughts, feelings, emotions, regrets, doubts and fears mixed in with the hope. He almost crossed the country just to get here because he heard slightly familiar voice on the phone... What the hell was he thinking?
Hello! We will be happy together now
And forever
"Never thought that several years can change you so much." He froze, hearing this voice. You. Alive. He didn't even notice when day changed into night. And yet here he was. Sitting on nightly beach, with a vampire, who was supposed to be dead, but was somehow alive, behind his back. "If you intend to leave, I will go away before it become too painful for us."
"No." He hated how his voice sounded so pleadingly. "I am here now. And forever." He whispered, too afraid to turn around in case it was his madness and there was noone. But hand on his shoulder felt real.
And so Michael turned to face the only person he should have never left.
Star
She danced with ease. In the crowd of drunken rowdy people Star moved effortlessly, to the rhythm that current musicians on the scene chose. She was light and mingled with everyone else, and yet you saw only her out of many on the beach, even sitting aside from it on the warm sand.
Who showed you the stars in the morning sky
Who taught you to see in nighttime
Who is not me
You could never stop admiring her. She was perfect. Dancing, laughing, even when pouting and being angry. Star was perfect in your eyes. From stargazing, to late night walks, to ruling down the boys, to everything else.
You had been with the boys for significantly longer time than her. Little sibling, less rowdy, but still as fitting into their chaotic dynamic, as everyone in their little coven. You clicked instantly, and you protected her from the boys and Max, as she protected you. It felt like you two were meant for each other from the start.
Me? I will always be with you
Me? I will always be on your side
No, I will not let you go
And lately, with Emersons in the town and Michael shenanigans and Max' obsession with their mother, everything became more tense tenfolds. You tried to keep your cool and keep everything under control, including your so-called brothers and your bond with Star.
But that boy. That damned Emerson boy. That Michael and his puppy eyes, focused on Star. Like she was his sun. It irritated you. It angered you. Every smile she sent his way, every wave of hand, every glance in his direction made you feel almost threatened. As if she was your territory, and he was daring to step too close.
"You look like you want to tear through the crowd." Star fell down on the sand next to you, her skirt jumping with the move and riding higher to her knees. Your eyes slided up her ankles and bare feet right to her face. You watched her silently, thoughtfully, making her chuckle and smile in such manner that eased your mind even if you didn't want to ease up and strived to hold onto this grudge for some more time.
You spent time without her. You lived without her, before her. But now, knowing her, feeling her warmth, her light, her smile, hearing her laughter... You couldn't imagine living without her again. Let alone an eternity without her. Or witnessing her being with someone else.
How much time has passed
How many more will pass
"Now you and your silence are scaring me." Star noted, tilting her head, her unruly wild curls falling o one of her shoulders, as she leaned into you, grasping your hand almost unceremoniously. "Talk to me."
"Do you like him?" You asked her, causing her to furrow her brows, not understanding what you meant at first. " Michael. I know Max... Almost ordered us to take him. But you seem so... Fond of him."
"Wait... You are jealous?" Star asked you in sudden understanding. You hated this feeling. When she could see right through you and your facade you put up to not show your real feelings. You leaned away from her touching, furrowing your brows.
It is hard for me to be without you
Let's just be friends
Friends with kisses
"You like him!" You almost accused her, even if it was desperation in your voice and not some real accusation. "You like him and you don't even hide it! I..." You turned away from her and stood up, walking away from the dancing crowd, so you wouldn't take it all out on someone else. By the hurried shuffle of the skirts, it seemed that she followed right after you. "We can be friends, I know, if you like him more than me, I can... I can live with it, just don't leave me and..." She interrupted you with a strong tug on your wrist, turning you around and kissing you desperately and passionately right on the lips.
"Silly vampire... You are the only one for me. Michael is cute, I can't argue with that. But he isn't you." She murmured, cupping your face. "I rather go mad and act up against Max and attack him than leave you." You shivered at comparison of almost deadly act and leaving you. You embraced her, leaning into her.
"Promise?" You whispered, way more relaxed now, as you let her press her forehead against yours.
"I swear... Who else can be your personal star?" She smiled, making you smile as well. Of course you trusted her. How could you not believe in your personal star.
Poly
You were used to being alone. Even being a vampire, you preferred more harmless way. Donor blood from the hospitals or animals. You didn't like hunting humans, you thought it... Inhumane and too cruel for your liking. You always tried to keep your stash of blood with you and search for different ways of feeding once in the new place. However this town proved to be more hard to find something of sort you ate. Santa-Carla had a lot of humans, in and out of town. But there were little number of animals around and there were small amount of blood banks. You didn't want to take the last stashes of blood from them.
You started the night
And everything anyone could afford
At least you found yourself some company. Boys, or rather, five boys and a girl - David, Paul, Michael, Marko, Dwayne and Star - were as wild, free and cool as they were beautiful, hot and alluring at the same time. Your being acquainted quickly turned into friendship and then... Potentially into something more. You didn't notice how smoke breaks with David at some polite distance turned into smoke breaks with David with his hands around you. How discussions with Dwayne about books turned into talks or even silent sessions of braiding his hair or just chilling together with Dwayne. How mindless fun with Paul turned into him constantly throwing his arm around your shoulders and clinging to you at the first possible moment. How attraction rides and adrenaline rushes with Marko turned into practically the whole nights of spending time together. How Michael teaching her things about motorcycle and nerding out about it turned into long and adventurous rides together. How chatting from time to time with Star turned into girl nights, away from the boys, giggling, gossipping about everything else.
Your ties to all of them somehow became stronger than friendship and even without formally discussing your relationship together. You just were together. You were theirs and they were yours. It was as simple and as complicated as this.
You tore off the masks aside
Kept the soul imprisoned
Of course you noticed something was off with them. But never really got into thinking about it. And you tried to be as secretive about your own being as possible at the same time. Hiding blood, trying to eat way before you met up with them to hide any potential smell or slip up. Seemingly they didn't notice anything, but you were still wary about everything. And you did notice some things about them as well.
They had no worries about money or clothes or gas for their bikes. They had no arguments about you meeting up with them only at night. They rarely insisted on going somewhere to eat, despite spending hours doing something active or not. It was not normal. And slowly, as first wave of infatuation and flirt fell off of you, you started noticing those things more and more.
David's sharp eyes and how he noticed little things about other people. Dwayne's strength. Paul's out of control wilderness. Marko's insatiability. Michael's impulsiveness and Star's aloofness to the other people. Or how sometimes they didn't even need words to communicate with each other. It was inhumane... Almost as if they were vampires.
Even if there is blood on your cheek
You would say it is just a lipstick
"We have a gig in the mechanical shop, what, you think we steal money and gas?" Michael scoffed at your question about how they sustain themselves, glancing at David.
"We just spend so much time together, we don't need words sometimes, princex." Dwayne reassured you at another time, when you wondered aloud how they communicated silently.
"Blood? No, babe, it's... Star tried new red lipstick, that's it." Paul nervously explained, before Marko tugged you away from him, distracting your attention from the red spot on his cheek.
Something was off. You knew that. They knew that you knew. And it was only a matter of time before you all found out truth about each other.
We are not the angels, mate
No, we are no angels
You stood in shock, watching from distance the horrible picture that unraveled before you. Your boys. Your beloved boys and Star whom you already thought to be your partners. Attacking and ripping through some teens, who were partying around the bonfire. Feeding, breaking, killing and then burning bodies in the same bonfire. You stepped back in shock, your eyes wide, flickering between your natural colour and that yellow of your wild vampiric side.
Shuffling of your feet attracted attention. Star raised her head, noticing you, and you, even in darkness, shuddered from how twisted her usually calm and friendly face looked, morphed into vampiric traits, with smeared blood all over it. You stepped back again and again, almost darting into the air, but in your shock and drastic change between how you usually saw them and how they were now didn't notice how quickly they moved themselves.
Before you could leave, you crashed into someone's hard chest. You turned around, seeing Dwayne, his face morphed and tainted in blood as well. Before you could step away from him, he grasped your shoulder, his face gradually morphing into human-like.
"Stop it... You are like us. Why do you look so..."
"Scared?" David finished for him, walking to you, along with Michael. The brunette boy and Star, perhaps, looked the most worried. Blonde duo continued with wrecking chaos near the bonfire, and David looked almost irritated. "It is part of us. Of you."
"I am not like this." You argued. "I have never done this." You motioned for the dead bodies scattered across the sand. "This is wrong. You can't just... Kill people left and right!" You exclaimed.
We are the dark monsters
And all of our boundaries are gone
"We are vampires. Don't tell me you are one of those pacifists. It is stupid, how would you survive without killing?" David rolled his eyes.
"Animals. Donors. Anything. Not this... Massacre!" You breathed out, hearing Dwayne's scoff.
"You are a bit dramatic, princex. You kill animals. People kill animals. We kill people. It is part of the foodchain." He mused quietly, sighing and rubbing your shoulder, almost trying to be reassuring. "Stop it... Don't run away from me. From us. We can just talk it out..."
"No!" You freed your arm from his grip, glancing around and then stepped away from them, more and more.
"Y/N..." Michael stepped after you, looking at you worriedly, almost twisted image considering blood on his face.
"Don't. Let them go." David stopped him, watching as you scrambled away from them over the sand and getting into the air. "They will come back... Sooner or later."
You have been sleeping for so long
Way too long for a monster
It had been couple of days already. Or rather, nights. You didn't go out, staying in your room you were renting, feeding on the rest of your stash... You should have moved on. Away from Santa-Carla. To some big city, where there could be some blood banks or to some foresty location, where animals were at large. But...
The thought of leaving quietly, without saying goodbye was heartwrenching. To never see Paul with his stupid jokes. To never braid Star's hair. Never play another arcade game with Marko. To never argue with David and Dwayne about some book or stupid movie. To never ride with Michael through the night... They felt like part of you already. Even if they were vampires who never argued with the bestial part of themselves, like you did. Who never went against their nature and who harmed people, going against every rule you yourself tried to follow.
You should have talked with them, like Dwayne asked, you thought, pacing your room. Should have talked, discussed, perhaps argued and screamed, but still talked it out...
Maybe you should come down from the sky
To the place where you can breathe with your whole body
You stopped near the window, looking at the night street. You wanted it all to go back to how things used to be between all of you. It was simpler. To not think of how they murdered those teens. How horribly they looked with the blood on their faces and hands and even neck and chest (good God, Paul, how did he manage to get that dirty?). To the time where you worried most about not letting them guess anything bad about you and not that they knew the truth all along and were, honestly more free with this part of their nature than you were.
You turned away from the window, looking at the fridge, where you held your stash of blood. Only one last bag remained. It would last you couple days. Four, if you will not do much and waste much energy. You spent days, thinking over everything, and now you had practically no choice. Either leave them to find another blood bank or hunting grounds with animals. Or stay with them. Learn from them. Let them be with you, like they pleaded you to in your every dream and waking moment. They were 'giving you space', as David told them to. However you could still feel them nearby your building, where you rented the room. Lingering, whispering, showing how willing they were to accept you in their arms, to accept you into their coven without any second thought or doubt...
Drop your clear sheet
Monsters don't wear white
When you came to the Boardwalk on the next night, you could see how relieved Marko, Paul and Michael were. How supportive Star and Dwayne's eyes were. How arrogant smirk of David changed into calm expression. He outstretched his arm to you, welcoming you to take it. And you finally accepted the invitation to join them once and forever.

I don't know if you're still taking requests but what about reader mistaking chalking starfires yandere behavior as Starfire's normal bubble over affectionate behavior basically thinking it's normal Starfire behavior.
It was easy to misconstrue Star's intent and even reasoning behind her actions
Anytime she does anything bad, like stalking you, it's justified by either her being an alien that doesn't understand Earth customs or that it's normal on Tamaran
She also really good at playing happy and go luck, which makes it hard to actually catch her doing something bad
She's quick to tears if she feels you're getting angry with her
She doesn't want you to be angry with her, but she's not going to stop what she's doing
Watches you while you sleep. You think it’s creepy but she thinks it’s protective
She’s very obsessive and jealous. She hates when you have friends outside of her
Gets very grumpy and pouty
She’s very warm so cuddling with her is like being by a bonfire
^ If you’re cold, just cuddle her
She LOVES cuddles and physical affection
Always wants to touch you
Doesn’t have a great understanding of boundaries
Will try and get Silkie into the cuddle sessions but you tell her you’re not doing that
She sometimes touches you in places that you have to tell her are not appropriate. Quickly remind her that humans don’t do that, which just leaves her confused
