YESSSS PLEASEEEE it would be so cute 😭I picture Reader would be an OG fan, like an active watcher and frequent chatter since around the time he started out. So ofc he recognizes your username, and tends to call out your comments even in a much busier chat once his career really starts taking off.

(Are you a bit parasocial about that? Why, yes! But overall he’s a comfort streamer, good background noise after a stressful day, and seems like a sweet guy. Maybe you got a little crush on him, but overall you just enjoy tuning in)

But when you’re moving into your new apartment, and suddenly the guy on your screen every night comes walking out of the one next door? You drop your box with a surprised yelp, much to his confusion.

And then comes the fear, because how do you talk to him face to face when you chat in his streams every night? How do you tune into his streams when you can hear his voice through the thin wall separating your apartments?

(He notices your absence and asks chat where you’ve been. When you finally send a message again, he brightens up immediately. teases you for missing a few nights. You try not to scream because it’d probably pick up as bg noise in his stream—or you do and chat thinks it’s in the game. He jumps for the first time. Chaos ensues)

But the day you break and divulge to him your guilt (that isn’t really guilty at all), he just says “that’s cool” and asks what your username is. The world buffers before you stutter it out. And his entire face just lights up when you do.

My last username here was iamstartraveller776. For over 20 years I was startraveller776 in various fandoms (Misplaced on some old Trek sites and briefly had the alt Tenebrious for Labyrinth).

These days I'm just chillin' as a grandparent and dabbling with original fiction when the mood strikes.

My dog had a lump, and we went to the vet, and they cut it out, and she's healthy and good. I hope for the best for the kitty.
