I think I found the Land Before Time
4/20 Movie Marijuanathon Film #10: We get extraterrestrial with Star Leaf (2015). A trio of friends set out on a hike to find Star Leaf, an alien weed that supposedly is the strongest you can find. Once they do locate it, they have to fight for their lives against the forces that protect the interstellar flower.
As you should know by what I post on this blog, I love trash and independent movies. But this is just lazy. The effects are laughable After Effects garbage and the one rubber suit they use for the alien looks like a cheap Halloween costume. The writing is as generic as you can get and the acting isnât much better. But hey, they do smoke copious amounts of weed though. Thatâs at least something to cling to. Avoid this one.
