Another type bites the dust. The Mil Mi-28 Havoc attack helicopter, widely considered to be the direct Russian counterpart to the American Boeing AH-64D Apache Longbow, is the latest Russian aircraft type to be downed in Ukraine. It's noteworthy that the Mi-28 is heavily armoured and was designed from the get go to be rugged and with survivability in mind. More so then it's compatriot, the Kamov Ka-52 Alligator/Hokum-B which has the reputation of being relatively fragile.
