ppl who think the show should be called "beckett" don't seem to understand that the show is told from castle's perspective. the audience is ~supposed to be enthralled with kb in the same way that castle is enthralled with beckett. yes, beckett is the more interesting of the two - INTENTIONALLY. the audience has had to scratch and claw to get to beckett's past along WITH castle. it is a story-telling device, not a way to downplay stana's gr8ness. but what would this fandom be w/o the dramz?
yeap agree, he's the writer, he's fascinated with her and we're in this ride with him, watching through his eyes, but still it's been 6 years and i feel like i'm craving to know some things about him too..the fact that Marlowe uses him 95% of the time as a humor device frustrates me..other than that beckett's love and the reasons why she fell for him should reflect to the audience too,i mean we're watching from castle's perspective so castle should be able to feel it too, they're in a relationship now..and i don't mean in a physical way- stana does a great work portraying the 'in love' look- but with actions& words...saying things that we don't know about him can make castle's portrayal a little more realistic and in depth..
