Interesting movie fact I learned from Stan this week
In Freddy Got Fingered the very last day of shooting included Anthony Michael Hall. He was in his trailer waiting for him when he got a call from his girlfriend saying there was an emergency. Stan went to his trailer and saw him with two very purple, swollen eyes and a broken nose. Apparently, the night before he had gotten into a bar fight. He was desperate because this would cause a bad reputation since his agent would most likely be called. So, Stan patched him up, called the lighting technicians and said they'd need a little more light, but didn't tell them why. If you watch the scene where Tom pitches his half zebra comic in Anthony's office, you can barely tell his eyes are kind of dark and no one else was the wiser. Stan never told anyone on set what had happened.
