Narrow domestic movement continues through May
Delhi Carbon Black N220 trading remained stable this week as the domestic market continued moving inside a limited price spread. Indian Carbon Black N220 prices were assessed at Rs 168/kg on 26 May, slightly lower than Rs 170/kg recorded a week earlier. Despite the latest dip, recent sessions have continued to reflect a consolidation pattern rather than a sharp directional move. Trading activity through the second half of May showed only minor daily fluctuations, helping maintain a relatively steady procurement environment across the domestic market.
Current values remain slightly above the Rs 165/kg level recorded around mid-May, while Indian Carbon Black N220 prices are marginally below the Rs 170/kg area seen one month ago. Carbon Black N220 prices in India have mostly remained confined between Rs 165/kg and Rs 170/kg during recent sessions, reinforcing the compressed market structure visible through much of the month. Earlier in the tracked period, domestic values had advanced toward the recent high around Rs 190/kg before gradually easing into the current narrow range. The broader timeline also continues to show a substantial recovery from the historical low near Rs 84/kg recorded previously. Market participants are continuing to monitor whether the existing stability pattern remains intact during upcoming sessions,#DomesticMarket #NarrowMovement #MarketTrend #MayMarket #StableTrade #PriceMovement .
