     HE WOULD not lie: the thought of getting rid of Squee’s parents ( especially his father ) had often crossed his mind and would still take a walk in there from time to time. If those two were still alive it was only thanks to practical reasons. As far as Johnny knew, the kid did not have any other relatives who could take care of him, and who knew who he would be fostered to if his parents’ useless lives were to end by a gloved hand and a sharp blade. Adopting Squee himself was not an option Johnny took into consideration. Between ‘liking a child’ and ‘adopting him and bringing him up’ there was an abyss he would not even try to cross. Fuck, he would still better than Squee’s actual procreators, but handing him and his life in Johnny’s hands would not be wise anyway.

    “AH! AHH CRIPES!”

    Wybie recoils at the other boy’s incessant screaming, his palms covering his ears, part of him was ready to feel blood trickling out of them. GEEZ! Did he accidentally mistake a sound cannon for a child?!

    He quickly realized his mask was still shielding his face and in one swift movement, Wybie lifted the painted metal skull to reveal his true, pain-induced face.

For each “⭐️” I get, I’ll write a headcanon about our muses.

Rumple is actually bothered by Squee’s fear that she might hurt him personally. She’d never admit it but the thought that a child would be afraid of her, and worried about her eating them upsets Rumple just a touch. She has a soft spot for children, and does whatever she can to avoid hurting them when possible. However she understands why he is afraid, and that he seems to be generally afraid of...well...a lot of things. So she doesn’t take it personally, and simply hopes that at some point he wont be afraid of her. 

“It’s not stealing if they don’t realize I took it...”
