They say the early bird gets the worm. In this case it’s breakfast. Before the bugs wake up is the best time to harvest these squash blossoms. You can throw them directly in the pan without worrying about any added proteins 😅 ・・・ #growninhaiti #Squashblossoms #flèjomou #Haiti #ayiti #gardenfresh #foresttoface #farmtoface #agroforestry #foodforest #foodsecurity #abundance #harvest #breakfasthealthiswealth #loveyourself #riseandshine #earlybird https://www.instagram.com/p/CB0GIZLlGoh/?igshid=183zpjhkvc2nf

Look at this ridiculous pallet!
Pollinators hard at work in our squash blossoms. Looking forward to a bountiful harvest. Already shared one with a neighbor who recently shared a meal with me. Enjoy the tastes of summer with this delicious Ricotta Squash Blossom Pizza. A great fall treat has fresh squash blossoms, creamy ricotta, and a crunchy crust.
Ingredients: 1 pizza dough. 1/2 cup ricotta cheese. 8-10 fresh squash blossoms. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 2 cloves garlic, minced. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded. Fresh basil leaves for garnish.
Instructions: Set your oven to 475F 245C before you start cooking. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to the thickness you want. Place the dough on a pizza stone or a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper. Slice the garlic and mix it with the ricotta cheese in a small bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste. Spread the ricotta mixture out evenly on the pizza dough, making sure to leave some space around the edges for the crust. Take the stems off of the squash blossoms and carefully open them up. Take out any stamens that are inside. On top of the ricotta mix, put the squash blossoms. Put a little olive oil on the pizza and the squash blossoms. On top of the pizza, put grated Parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese. It should be baked in a hot oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and a little browned. Take it out of the oven and let it cool for one minute before cutting it. Add fresh basil leaves on top and serve hot. Have fun with your tasty Ricotta Squash Blossom Pizza!

This pasta dish combines the delicate flavors of squash blossoms and zucchini with the aromatic essence of garlic flowers. It's a light and refreshing dish perfect for spring or summer.
Ingredients: 250g pasta of choice. 10 squash blossoms, cleaned. 1 medium zucchini, thinly sliced. 4 garlic flowers, finely chopped. 2 tablespoons olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Grated Parmesan cheese for serving.
Instructions: Follow the directions on the package to cook the pasta until it is al dente. Remove the water and set it aside. Put olive oil in a pan and heat it over medium-low heat. It will take about 4 to 5 minutes of cooking after adding the sliced zucchini. After you add the chopped garlic flowers, cook for two more minutes or until the food smells good. Cut the squash blossoms into little pieces and add them to the pan. As it wilts, cook for one to two minutes. Add pepper and salt to taste. Put the cooked pasta in the pan and mix everything together until it's well mixed. Grate some Parmesan cheese on top and serve hot. Have fun!
