Music to hate a person for playing, but it’s delightful in its cacophony. Could be set to ballet. It can be defined, but it shouldn’t be.
God I love this album. Wish my record player was better but it’s coping for now. Decided I will get a cheap briefcase player to tide me over instead of ripping this thing apart. I like it for its other functions along with its prettiness, don’t want to ruin it all by trying to fix the phono section on the combined electronic board. Will maybe upgrade next year to a portable, at which point I pass the briefcase player on to the kid.
Yawning. Same sensation as when you yawn after drinking a cup of coffee. Paradoxical effect. Feel my heart slowing as I relax. Tension release from my body. Tear dripping from my eye. Does that happen to other people? I know my sister gets it but I don’t know if anyone else does, tears from smiling or relaxing or singing.
Side B complete. Intermission. I think another reason why I like vinyls is that you effectively double or quadruple the albums you get in one go. It sets you up for nice little breaks. Contemplation time.
This is my most relaxed time of the week: the point furthest away from having to be a human again.
Today's cool album is

squarepusher has been putting out some really fucking great stuff post hiatus. tbh i would consider it to be on par with his music from the early 2000s in terms of quality and experimentation and that is high high praise.
like lately he has never been fucking missing kammerkonzert dostrotime and be up a hello are some incredible varied stuff, especially with kammerkonzert and dostrotime.
kammerkonzert is very self-explanatory with what it has going for it experiments-wise with the yknow. orchestral album with all the instruments played by the man himself but dostrotime is a beast with a lot of duality to it. it has some of his calmest and nuttiest stuff having this sort of bait and switch thing going for it? it lures you in with the chaos and energy then shows you its full dimensions. it takes full advantage of those dark cinematics it has going for it.
