OP 1: "Imagination" by SPYAIR

Music: 7/10 This is another very "anime" song. It's happy and has a kind of inspirational feel. It has a pretty high BPM (200+) which makes it very hype as well. This isn't something I'd listen to often but it's still a nice song!

Visuals: 6/10 It's pretty standard of what you'd expect from an anime opening. Though I have noticed that throughout the anime they really abuse that one animation of Kageyama serving. I don't blame them though, it'd be a hassle to animate an entirely new sequence for every single serve.

Music + Visuals: 9/10 I didn't notice at first, but after watching it a couple of times, I realized that the music and visuals are really a perfect match! The energy of the song just fits the visuals so well, especially around the one minute mark where it shows Hinata taking a water break. At this time, you can hear that the song slows down a bit too before the drums kick in again and Hinata runs back to join the action! And also the part near the end where Kageyama tosses the ball and Hinata spikes it with his eyes closed. I really like the build-up in that part and their subsequent "YOSHA!" (that's what I imagine they're saying lol).

Opening + Anime: 9/10 The opening pretty much shows everything you need to know about Haikyuu. It's fun and exciting and overall just a light show to watch.
