"Too bad I'm not your father." A long awaited response after what could have been a decade of silence, wherein the dark haired female had relied heavily upon Joohyun's utterly engaging tactics over cell. "That way I'd be seeing one of my favourite unnies. Matter of fact, just start calling me appa. We'll see how it plays out once that birthday rolls around. Not poorly, I hope."
A slim digit catches onto a cluster of strands and begins to twirl absentmindedly as she formulates a reply. It's slow in coming, as per usual, yet still lacks the true answer the other had appeared to be searching for when the inquiry had been made."As we're talking about me, Seo Joohyun's father, I'd suggest a cute tote. Valentino, maybe. Nude or black, but with none of those studs. The studs are ugly. Ahm, no. But actually, what about a woodsy cologne and something meaningful like a, uhh--"
The lift of a shoulder is lost in audio-cellular translation. A shame really, when it means so much. "--treat him to dinner and let him catch up with his daughter? How's that?"

Sooyoung’s maybe a bit tired from her trip back to Korea, and the only thing she honestly wants to do is to go straight home and settle in her bed for a much needed rest, but she knows there’s something else she has to do first. Her disguise leaves a lot to be desired, a variety of people approach her asking for autographs. The good person in her is glad to give them out, but the lack of sleep leads to a trembling hand whenever fingers tighten around a pen. She smiles apologetically whenever she jots down her autograph and seeks the path less walked on her way to the exit, she’s done with talking to strangers for the day for at least as much as she can.
She spots a familiar face in the crowds waiting outside the gates, making sure to move through the people and get to the note with her English name on it.
“How was Guam?” the voice of her manager is enough to get her to close her eyes and shake her head a bit.
“Fine... I’m just... exhausted.”
“So I should take you straight home?”
Another shake of her head. “I have something to do first... Can you take me to maknae’s place instead?”
She can feel his eyes on her for a few moments before he gives in, and she finds herself mindlessly staring out the window as she watches Seoul rush by. She’s not even sure if Joohyun is at home or not, but she’s convinced her manager will bring her to wherever she’s supposed to be. Nevertheless, she reaches for her phone and decides to quickly shoot a text into her maknae’s direction.

❝ ♕ — 상환 ❞ Rhythmically jumping in time with the rope, she focuses on the movement of her wrists and somehow matches it to the harsh chords of some rock song from some rock playlist created by her lover in hopes of helping her amp up her routine. A satisfied grin lifts the corner of her mouth the moment a blaze sets into her calves and she immediately stops, turning her head to quickly examine the woman beside her.
“You alright?” Words heavy with breathless pants, Carmen attempts to keep the burn going in her calves by halfway squatting, arms held out in front of her (she’s a glutton for pain, safe to say).
It was a rare occasion when she allowed the presence of a celebrity within the gym walls, but like everything else in this hapless world, she made exceptions. Seohyun, one year to her senior, was gifted to her by a manager that feared for the worst. She didn’t pry when it came to questioning the woman about why she needed a personal trainer and instead embraced her with open arms. Everyone had their secrets and insecurities, and who was she to defile that unspoken rule. Besides, she received a friend out of the whole ordeal. Tit for tat.
Seeing her struggle, an airy laugh passes her lips and she walks over to stick her arm out, allowing the rubber of Seohyun’s jump rope to smack against her skin, marring it red as it comes to a halt. “You know if you’re tired, you should stop, right? The no pain, no gain motto is COMPLETE bullshit.” Leaning down she picks up a water bottle to press against the woman’s skin in an attempt to cool her down just a fraction. “How do you keep up with all of this? Your diet is terrible, it looks like you haven’t slept properly. Is the idol life really worth it?” Being crass in conversation isn’t something Carmen’s new to, and despite the status, she still treats others as if they were her equal.
Chanyeol was woken up by loud banging against his door. He knew it was just one of his members so he remained buried deep in his multiple layers of blankets, but the sounds soon escalated to perhaps a couple of decibels higher, and so he definitely had no choice but to will himself out of bed. It was absolutely brutal, the treatment; but they’re brothers, and this kind of thing was of a regular occurrence at the dorms, and had been going on for years. It wasn’t gonna matter later. With the angriest (also most fake) expression in the history of EXO, he went over to open the door, only to get reminded of why he was woken up in the first place.
Fast forward to when he was finally all dressed up and ready to leave, he was panicking around his room in search for the thing he was going to bring. It was essential -- the very reason he was even leaving; It was in his bag of valuables on the way home from Paris. Taking a quick break (yet still in a state of panic), he sat on the edge of his bed and dug into his pocket for his phone, quickly sending some text messages to the person he was meant to meet.
[ kkt _ 서누나 ] i’m gonna be a bit late because i woke up late noona.. ㅜㅜ
[ kkt ] luckily sehunnie woke me up with loud knocking 😂 but still!
[ kkt ] i’m sorry for making you wait.. are you already there?
There were several reasons why Lusine hated making deliveries using the company scooter. Of these, nearly getting run over by ‘real’ traffic and having to weave between cars in a country entirely composed of aggressive drivers was probably the biggest. However, since she couldn’t be like everyone else and use the sidewalks like their own personal moped highway, because she actually has some common sense, there was nothing to do but rely entirely on fast reflexes. Sadly enough, the chaotic transit was the easiest part on this particular day. The real headache began when she was loudly and publically berated for improperly parking her scooter, despite there being no signs posted about where to legally park. Once that situation was settled, time was creeping uncomfortably close to the end of the delivery window this particular order had been placed for, and she had no choice but to scramble inside what appeared to be some sort of studio station.
Only, Lucy didn’t get very far before security seized her elbow and nearly caused her to drop the elaborate arrangement onto the tile floor. “Ahjussi, I need to deliver this! I’m running very late!” the still red-faced alien protested, trying to get a good look at the stone-faced man from behind a bundle of voluminous baby’s breath. Instead of compassion she was met with glimpses of obvious suspicion.
“That’s what they all say,” the man huffed, nodding towards a group of huddled fans waiting outside over her shoulder.
“Yes, but I-” she couldn’t have turned around so easily if she tried, “-I’m not a fan! I’m trying to complete an order and-” Suddenly the weight her arms had grown accustomed to was gone as another man came into view. The two mumbled between each other and now her arrangement was being carried away! “Ah, wait! Please!” she frowned, reaching out with her free arm to grasp at air.
“I’ll give you points for creativity, but you have to wait outside with the others.”
Hard words fell on deaf ears because she’d forgotten to pull the order slip out of the flowers. No one liked to get scolded for not doing their job properly. To come back with a blank signature page was one thing, but to come back with nothing at all was really bad. And now she was moving, being led outside by the crook of her arm. Her bright head whipped around as she protested and babbled like a criminal being pulled from the scene of a crime, “No, sir, there’s a paper in there that I need signed for my job-”
