@sprnkles who: caddy & silas plot: based off this song (on break/after tour and they 'ended' things)
sleep was no where to be found, though she should be exhausted. the whole day had been spent following wyatt around, appeasing her parents for their appearances, trying to make up for the months she'd been gone. the band as a whole was taking a break, some much needed rnr after a tumultuous tour. and caddy knew how she was supposed to be acting, how she was supposed to be feeling. guilty for sleeping with silas while away from wyatt, grateful for the life she had, taking in the rest she couldn't find on the bus. but she was feeling none of that.
instead she laid in the hotel bed, soft linen sheets surrounding her, a feathered pillow under her head, room service at the tip of her fingers. nothing but luxury. and it felt wrong. her mind, her whole being, was consumed by a singular person. silas. and it was choking her. flashes of them on the bus, backstage, anywhere and everywhere. it had just been sex, letting off steam.
her feet hit the floor and she's rummaging through the mini bar, pouring a vodka soda and glad wyatt had knocked himself out with an ambien. it's after four am, and she before she could even wonder or tell herself it was a bad idea, she's out on the balcony, sipping the drink with her phone pressed to ear, praying, hoping silas would pick up. "hey." is all she managed out as the ringing stopped.
