Lmfao, it always gets me that everyone else is trying to reason with Apple and Cerise on the other hand is just ready to throw hands 😭😂💀
Boring take: Apple has always been good because if she were evil, Topsy Torvee in Spring Unsproung would have made her "good." Instead, by becoming evil, she proves that she isn't. Once again we fall into the Apple discourse™
Interesting take: Apple's fundamental trait, regardless of her personal morality, is her loyalty and conformity to the world of Ever After and, consequently, to the rules. So, her inverse in Spring Unsproung demonstrates a change in Apple's morality, since working to get what she wants is something she's always done. And this is because Apple's problem is that she's too attached to the rules.
I’m just sitting here and reflecting on spring unsprung and how everyone even prior to reading the riddle book was acting all weird. Like in the scene where the storybook of legends was getting exposed for being a fake, everyone refused to believe alistair and bunny. I found it so out of character for some, especially RAVEN since she is literally always the one who gives people the benefit of the doubt. And also if maddie was good friends with them AND she believed them, wouldn’t raven want to believe them too since maddie is arguably her best friend? Why wouldn’t she believe maddie? I also felt like cedar could have had a way bigger part in this, since she is the one exposing things for what they really are…
