#spring ball

after mingling for a while, mackenzie finally located her sister. not surprisingly, she had a drink in her hand and was admiring the decorations. she scurried up to her, wrapping her arms around the older woman’s shoulders. “i’m so glad you came,” she said, knowing her sister had been trying to talk herself out of it. kenzie tucked some stray pieces of hair behind her ear. “you came for more than drinks and flowers, did you? why don’t you dance with someone!”

This is a reminder that our spring ball will take place tomorrow evening in Holodeck Two at 2000 hours. It is formal attire and refreshments will be provided. A date is not necessary to attend.

well, the ballroom looks nice, but I still feel a bit self-conscious....

note to self: next time, make replicator VERIFY amount of glitter :sigh:
