This week, Maine got a rare treat: a roseate spoonbill showed up in Cutler—only 45 minutes from me! I drove up the coast to take a peek. What a weirdo. Life bird number 261. So glad it made the trip from Florida. Maine summer is where it's at. Here are a couple of spoonbill drawings I did for the I Love Birds Activity Book.
