Tom Hollandās āSpider-Man 4ā Gets Official Title, āSpider-Man: Brand New Day,ā Ahead of Summer Filming
Peter Parkerās next big-screen adventure has been officially titled āSpider-Man: Brand New Day.ā Director Destin Daniel Cretton confirmed at CinemaCon that the highly anticipated fourth installment will begin filming this summer.
Although Tom Holland couldnāt attend the annual convention for movie theater owners in Las Vegas, he sent a video message teasing the upcoming superhero film.
āI am so sorry I canāt be with you. I am halfway around the world shooting a movie,ā said Holland, who is currently filming Christopher Nolanās āThe Odysseyā alongside Matt Damon, Zendaya, and Anne Hathaway.
Reflecting on the shocking ending of āSpider-Man: No Way Home,ā Holland added, āI know we left you with a massive cliffhanger, so āSpider-Man: Brand New Dayā is a fresh start. It is exactly that. Thatās all I can say.ā

āThe simple answer is that Iāll always want to doĀ Spider-ManĀ films,ā Tom told Deadline. āI owe my life and career toĀ Spider-Man. So the simple answer is yes. Iāll always want to do more.ā
The more ācomplicated answerā Tom added is how he and theĀ Spider-ManĀ team approach any follow-up toĀ Spider-Man: No Way Home,Ā the third title in his webbedĀ saga, without retreading past themes.Ā
āWe have the best in the business working toward whatever the story might be. But until weāve cracked it, we have a legacy to protect,ā he said. āThe third movie was so special in so many ways that we need to make sure we do the right thing.ā
He added: āThis is the first time in this process that Iāve been part of the creative so early. Itās just a process where Iām watching and learning. Itās just a really fun stage for me. Like I said, everyone wants it to happen. But we want to make sure weāre not overdoing the same things.ā
