Haven’t really worked on my demon designs as much as my false angels, so wanted to actually get a look down for the fire demons. They’re probs related to my naga is the thought, and or evolved from an ancient species of fire dragon that they worship (though it is extinct). I’m thinking this would be a breeding colors specimen, as their flame sacs and colors are brighter and flared up in this picture. Maybe they’re usually covered in more feathers to cover the red hues of their skin? Their spines on their back are modified feathers that act as quills. Their bones and teeth aren’t naturally black, but smeared with ash and dye to appear more fearsome/attractive

Cockatrice hen! They’re duller than their male counterparts, but just as venomous! Their venom can paralyze and eventually kill is my thought, maybe smth similar to a cone snail?
