that's why if you say it's incest im like yeah ok but if you say it's not incest im still like yeah ok. pseudo-incest? sure, im not picky. everyone's got personal views on what incest is/isn't defined as.

“I’m so glad we were able to discuss our…special case,” MK says softly. “And even more glad that you don’t mind taking him! I know it’s been a struggle here, but I’m certain that he’ll do better at home with you! Come, sit so I can tell you the full story!”

She guides you to the parlor where Papyrus sets down a tea tray. Surprisingly, Boss is already sitting there, arms and legs crossed as he stares out the window at the false sunlight of Papyrus’ garden. You’re surprised to see him, but given what you have heard about this particular adoptable, it isn’t that shocking that MK would ask him to sit in.

“ABOUT TIME! HONESTLY, IF YOU WEREN’T SO SLOW, FOX, MY PSEUDO-BROTHER WOULD HAVE BEEN WELL ON HIS WAY TO HEALING BY NOW! SO INCONSIDERATE!” Boss scoffed at MK, who raised a brow at the worried face that betrayed his tough words.

“I’ll ignore that because I know you’re anxious,” MK coos softly, kissing the skeleton on the temple before plopping down beside him, tails resting in his lap.  He visibly relaxed and flushed a little, caught in his worry. His arms unfolded and his hands dropped to disappear amongst the fluff of her tails. “Now, to the point. The Crimson we discussed, he’s…a special case.”

“HE’S TRAUMATIZED!” Boss growled. “EVERYONE KNOWS YOU CAN’T ABANDON AN UNDERFELL MONSTER! I WISH YOU’D GIVE ME THEIR COORDINATES SO I CAN–”

“Hush, big boy,” MK soothed, patting his knee. “This Crimson comes with his share of heartbreak. Crimsons are a High Attachment Bara breed, and this one has…already had an owner. It’s a miracle he’s lasted this long with us, but it doesn’t look good, if I’m honest. His Hanahaki’s has progressed to Stage 3, meaning it has worked it’s way through his sockets and teeth as well as his ribs. It’s going to be a constant pressure in his life until he chooses to remove it, if that day ever comes–if he doesn’t, then making a new connection with you might be enough to halt the progress, maybe even reverse it.”

“HE IS FRAGILE AND SCARED OF EVERYTHING! HE DOESN’T LIKE LOUD NOISES OR HUMAN MEN, AND HIS FAVORITE FOOD IS ENCHILADAS!” Boss interjects. “HE DOES BEST WHEN HE CAN CUDDLE SOMEONE WHILE SLEEPING AND IF HE GETS AT LEAST 6 HOURS OF SLEEP EVERY NIGHT. ALSO, HUGS AND AFFECTION MAY FREAK HIM OUT AT FIRST BUT I PROMISE YOU HE NEEDS THEM AND ENJOYS THEM.”

“He’ll be okay, Boss,” MK says gently, patting him again.

“LIKE I’M WORRIED!”

He very obviously is…

“Obviously this will be the last time he is ever adopted out,” MK says, clearly fighting off the urge to glare at you–she trusts you implicitly, of course, but you can understand the hesitance. “We will need to sign a contract stating he will not be rehomed or abandoned again, for his sake. I can provide you with the numbers and locations of his doctors and such, as well as a key to the mansion should he feel the need to visit. I know it’s a bit much, especially with all the mistrust and fear you will have to work through…is this okay?”

*A rare doppleganger appearance as the actor/actress is already in the show as a lead role. It also mainly happens in the early serials.
