It feels like so long ago I created this account primarily to read... perhaps to share some fanfic drafts that have long sat handwritten and neglected in my desk.

Now... I am just trying to re-find a voice. Paper and pen is my trusted medium but after marrying and having a child I realized that what poured from me to a notebook were not thoughts or feelings I would dare leave laying about for either of them to stumble across. Now, a year into therapy and over a year past new diagnoses, I am looking for a new outlet. Well, not looking. I have found you. Yet as with so many new things it has taken me months to *begin.

I don't know what this will be. Perhaps reflections on parenting. Perhaps my own memories and the new lenses through which I am learning to see them. Perhaps just the outpouring of grief and confusion that I don't feel justified to let loose among those closest to me. Perhaps things my therapist would like me to speak out loud, but are not within reach. Perhaps the fanfic will wind its way through after all.
