Sparrowfeather is the daughter of Redstar, the ThunderClan Leader who refused to share territory with SkyClan. She and her littermates were born less than a year after SkyClan left the forest.

Since birth, Sparrowkit was haunted by Rainleap, a former SkyClan cat who stayed behind because she refused to leave their territory. She stayed on the outskirts and picked off several warriors from the four remaining Clans, until she met with a fox and was killed. Rainleap's revenge wasn't over even in death, and she saw that Redstar's mate was pregnant.

Out of the three kits, she chose Sparrowkit, and whispered in her ear, invisible to her. Initially, she gave advice and helped her out, earning her trust. Rainleap told her that she was a StarClan cat, sent to watch over her, for she had a great destiny. And eventually, she convinced Sparrowfeather that her father was planning to kill her. That she needed to kill him first, to protect herself and her sisters. And, because the voice had never led her astray before, she did it. She took the remaining lives that he had, first by poisoning him, and then she suffocated him in his sleep. Seedclaw took power and became Seedstar, and Redstar told her that he had been killed by his own daughter, Sparrowfeather. The Clan chased her out, intending to kill her, and Sparrowfeather threw herself into the gorge in hopes of escaping. She drowned, and though she tried to explain herself during her trial, no StarClan cat believed her and she was sent to the Dark Forest. Then she and Rainleap have a fun confrontation. Imagine if Mapleshade had succeeded completely with Crookedstar.

She's one of the Dark Forest cats who gets to go to StarClan after TBC, because she was basically being manipulated since birth.

Characters: Snowtuft (white tom), Sparrowfeather (dark brown tabby she cat)

This art is a part of an very old story that I draw back on devian art. The story called addict (inspired by vivziepop's music clip) and it's about two dark forest cats named Snowtuft and Sparrowfeather. They have very sad backstories and Sparrowfeather has a very abusiv mate Rushtooth who treats her like a toy and he became one of the lead dark forest cats after the great battle and after that he gave Sparrowfeather the other empty space. Not out of love, but to keep his eyes on her because he is aware that she wants to be free from him and he doesn't want to lose his favourite toy. Meanwhile Snowtuft is on bottom of the dark forest hierarchi, him and cats like him are the weakest dark forest cats and the cats above them are likes to look down them and bullying them. Despite their circumstances they still looking for happiness (even though Snowtuft is gave it up at one point until he met Sparrowfeather) and beliving that one day they will find it.

It's a very old story and I'm doing some rewrites in it and I'm planing a prequel and a sequel to this story.
