He eyed her a moment, deciding whether or not he believed her. Carol had done a good enough job of reminding him that he needed to bathe - and he hated it. But now that others were seeming to notice his hygienic practices weren't exactly up to par meant something else entirely.

Carol was going to have a field day with this.

  Whenever she was with Tara she always found herself laughing. It was funny how even in the darkest times they could always find away to make each other smile. As if it was a competition that they never wanted to win so it would never end. She hadn’t fully expected Tara to get her anything, but just in case she had to grab to flowers  these flowers. and she was glad she’d done it. The look on Tara’s face was all worth it. “I wasn’t sure you’d like flowers, but ya know they’re sold out of most vday presents out in the forest” God was she making dad jokes? Is that who she was now? Why did Tara make her so nervous at the oddest times. “I’m really glad you like em.” She said, sincerely.

Tara had somehow managed to make it her life mission to make Sparks smile. Anytime she did see the infectious smile, she found herself working even harder to keep it remaining. It was an image she wanted in her mind always. An image that could pull her though most anything. 

“Well, I hope the forest didn’t nickle and dime you for these. They’re beautiful.” She cradled the flowers in her arms as if it were an infant that had to be handled with care-- once they got back to camp, she would be sure to have them pressed, so she could hold on to the memory forever. 

 “Woah woah- easy there. I’m not looking  to get shot today, so how about putting the  gun down?”

Klaus had his hands up- no weapon in sight. He didn’t want trouble. He’d been squatting in this place for a week now, and he’d been up in the bedroom when he heard the noise downstairs. That’s when he found her.

“Can’t we try just having a normal conversation?”
