Sooo…. Bumblebee had turned into a sparkling.
And it is kind of making the two different leaders act more… different than normal.
With Optimus, he’s companionate, patient and can very much be the best role model any bot has ever asked for, he still was very much like that when bumblebee became a sparkling so nothing was out of the ordinary.
… what was actually out of the ordinary is when he lost the sparkling. Optimus was panicking, destroying stuff (though he did apologise briefly) and further more is less patient when there hadn’t been any traces.
It was hectic for the autobots, seeing their leader so distressed.
For the decepticons, it was much, much weirder to them.
He’s called a tyrant for a reason, he’s the mech that has little to no patience when things don’t work the way they supposed to, he’s anything but a soft sparked mech…
Until he took notice of the sparkling’s presence in the nemesis.
He was… a completely different mech all together, he was cooing and smiling genuinely, playing catch with the small bundle, booping the tips of their olfactory sensors and overall being incredible gentle.
It made every mech question everything about megatron.
Even starscream is baffled when megatron is more concerned with the sparkling than his traitorous actions to becoming the next leader.
… who are you and what have you done to our leader. Is probably what everyone would say… but starscream has the guts to say it out loud to his face.
The only mecha that didn’t complain or question it is Soundwave, he’s just more so surprised by the thoughts that had gone through the leaders helm when he spotted the sparkling for the first time.
Either way, he’s sort of glad megatron can actually feel proper emotions like a normal mech instead of just seething anger and pride at their accomplishments.
Either way, the autobot and decepticons agreed that baby bumblebee is most definitely their respective leaders top priority when it comes to health and care for.
With bumblebee? He’s just… very incredibly happy to be in the presence of someone that genuinely loves and cares for his well being, no matter who he’s in the care of.
… unless it’s starscream than he cries, though it came to their attention that it’s only those that had actually scared him he cries, so many sparks have been hurt on the decepticon side just for wanting to hold the little joyful bitlet.
He turned back into his normal age eventually and everything was… somewhat normal to say the least, there were some things that didn’t immediately change after bee’s sparkling situation and there’s some things that stayed.
Bumblebee was so confused… but it kind of didn’t feel out of place to him at all.
After that incident they sort of got used to the new normal considering how a sparkling can most definitely change the outcome of this war. Some say they’re papa wolves… while the othera think they’re more like papa bears than anything.
While there are a lot of debates about which animal their leaders are as a parent… they can very much agree on one thing involving their leaders.
Bumblebee was-… is their cub, no matter if their leaders are wolves or bears.

It’s technically not a proper story… but it’s still a story.
I think it’s called a narrative, like… it’s got a plot, it’s got the characters (I say as only doing two mechs from the decepticon side-) but the characters only have either one or two lines, nothing more nothing less.
… is that what a narrative actually means?
Anyways, other than that this narrative… story… thing is actually inspired by this ask here (anon has an idea) and yeah… that’s kind of how it is.
… I also kind of now understand the basic understanding of what kiss transformers is and why I need to avoid it…
but I ain’t looking into it further, I never really liked any form of human x transformer ships anyways, so why engage with something I don’t already like?
