Have you reviewed the Spardel yet? Love those silly lookin little guys
Spardels are pretty cute. They're not the most interesting petpets in the sense that they're literally just Boston Terriers, but the incredibly silly expression makes them very endearing regardless. They also seem to be popular with TNT, as they have a very large amount of colours for a petpet (27, at the time of writing).
Fun fact about Spardels: the artist that created them (Claire Hummel, aka Shoomlah) based them off her own dog. Thus, when her dog passed away, TNT added an RE to the site that gives you a special version of the Spardel, which is definitely not my favorite item of all time and definitely does not make me cry every time I open my SDB.
Favorite Colours
(Note: Sparky is excluded from this section for obvious reasons.)
Halloween: This is a very simple costume, but it fits the Spardel so well, especially with the tongue sticking out just above the edge of the cloak. I really like the green color of the fur and the spots as well; makes it look appropriately zombie-ish without losing the silly eyes.
Zombie: Speaking of zombies, you can't get any sillier than taking a pet with bugged out eyes and making them even more bugged out. The color and subtle stitches make this design work pretty well despite the very small image size limitations.
Mutant: Three eyes is literally the perfect trait to give this petpet, and I like some of the minor details as well, like the spiked collar, warped markings, and segmented tail. The colors also work very well, using a dark blue base with neon yellow and green accents (though the collar probably should've been green as well).
Least Favorite Colour:
Chocolate: Outside of the chocolate Spardel's Red Hots eyes being pretty freaky looking, it's just pretty boring for a chocolate pet. At least put some whipped cream on it or make parts of it white chocolate so it doesn't just look like an extra-brown Spardel.
