Key,real talk: How did you picture the aftermaths of the all "Duchess and Sparrow do it for the first time but then she runs away"? Because I have sooooo many of those things in my head. I mean, did Duchess tell Faybelle/Lizzie? Do the Merry Men know? How do they feel? She came back to him days later? Was he sad?? I need to know!
idk if this is a reference to my fic where i wrote a snippet about them having their first time after legacy day but...
I thought of Duchess run back to the dorm after confronting w herself by the lake. by this time Lizzie was already asleep. Duchess would glance at her for a moment thinking she's so lucky her life was easier and she almost has nothing to worry about. I dont think she would tell her because sometimes, she think Lizzie is kinda slow and isnt interested in love story (why else would she reject Daring!)
Sparrow isnt mad, hes just SAD AND DISAPPOINTED!! At himself and Duch. He feels like a fool thinking she feel the same as him (what kind of feeling? He doesnt know either cuz hes a dumbass). The Merry Men have known about them however, so they wouldn;t be surprised if Duch and he 'broke up' again, although this time they sense the reason is much more serious and specific...given how down Sparrow got. But they are not the type to gossip, so if Sparrow ignore their curiousity, they would leave him alone as they go back to practicing.
Faybelle...I think Duchess feels ashamed of herself, but Fay would be pressing her to spill it out, so maybe she tells her but not the whole thing of it? Crashing out in frustation cuz shes messy asf, just a "Yeah we fucked but that's it!!" and leave out the part where she ran away right after like a fuckboy.
Wonder how they came back togetherr....Sparrow would be the type to confront her the day after, but I think she's the type who ghost and avoid, so it's really going nowhere for the first few days. Maybe Sparrow gets a grip of her and heres come a moment of softness. I dont think he'd blame her, worried more like, though still resentful that she called everything a mistake. and she'd have to make up for him by treating him to Hocus Latte because Duchess Swan never apologizes for anything (by words). Despite that, she still can't open up to him about the whole destiny thing and deflect when he mention it. "I still got time to think/It's not in stone yet/Ugh! This is all Raven Queen's fault!!" until he drops the topic. They sit in silence drinking.
Just a quick brainstorm!! feel free to lmk your ideas! thank u for the ask heuhue its been a long time since i last think about sparchess
