New type of spambot emerged where they are only active for a month or two, reblog a ton of posts and larp as a tumblr user but type like a bot in DMs. It's always "hi!" or "hello" followed by "how are you doing"
Always check how long these users has been on here and how fast they'll see your work and follow you. I checked their insta and it's all stolen art.

@staff @support when are you all gonna actually fix the bot problem, this is just from the #asexual tag from when i been lurking in there since maybe monday. id say about 33% of them are generic spam (amazon, podcast, some health thing), and the other 66% are definitely sexual in some nature (lewd underwear posing, 🍆💦😳, straight up tiddies, etc etc)
how do we know they are being dealt with? and that reporting them isnt just hiding the post from us?

Today I had three spambots, this is already much less, unlike in January 2024, when it was literally an attack. Thank you, Tumbler administration.
