Then you watch the series in original version and hear Henry say "HIS FUCKING UNCLE!" and you realize that public television you pay for with your taxes lied to you. 🤧

In 1991, in Spain, they had Jerry's character say, "Do you want me to take your place?" to Dean when his character said he was allergic to all women! The joke doesn't make sense.
I repeat, 1991, it is assumed that in Spain censorship had disappeared a long time ago but I suppose that a slightly gay joke could be frowned upon on TV (yes, this dubbing was made for TV) 🧐🧐
As a curious fact, Dean's voice is the same as the guy who voices Principal Skinner on The Simpsons and Mickey Mouse. Wooow!
I just realized that my mom (born in Franco's Spain in the early 1960s) pronounces Jerry Lewis's last name the Spanish way, /Le-wu-is/, like many boomers/Gen Xers do in Spain. Probably because some journalist from the dictatorship didn't know how to pronounce Lewis as /Lu-is/.
It could have been worse and they could have translated his name as José Luis (Joseph Lewis)

On another note, she told me that the media at the time in Spain said that Jerry had an older son who had cerebral palsy. I told her that's a lie; her older son was born healthy and he was a singer, what Jer did was help the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
