A throwback photo from 2007. This is a Classic Pens LB3 Jupiter fountain pen, a limited edition of 100 pens introduced in 2007. Each 5 3/4 inch long pen was created individually by Paul Rossi from Classic Pens Space Blue diffusion bonded acrylic. The planet Jupiter inlay on the barrel is in Flame Red diffusion bonded acrylic. Four of Jupiter’s moons are represented in white and blue acrylic inlays. There are twenty-one stars in 18 karat gold, inlaid in three constellation formations, with seven stars each formation. On either side of the clip are the Big Bear and Little Bear and Orion is on the barrel. Small sterling silver stars are inlaid to complete the night sky surrounding the planet.
