Admittedly, Ryuzaki had been pushing a lot when Otogi had first come home crying. However, that pushing meant that he cared. That was something Otogi would never be upset about. Rather than replying right away, the dice master moved to drape his arms over the other’s shoulders; nuzzling his face into that mess of brown hair.
“Just because I don’t wanna talk about it, doesn’t mean I don’t want you around. You just being here is a comfort to me,” he admitted softly. “I’d.. be really lost without you. I’m just sorry for making you worried in the first place.”
Otogi knew that patience wasn’t exactly Ryuzaki’s best virtue. But he tried, and he tried damn hard. That was exactly why the ravenette felt so bad about keeping the other waiting for so long. But he knew that if he started talking about it now, he’d start crying again and he wanted to wait until that feeling passed.
