Happy Halloween guys! I have been gone for awhile because of...Ducks and conventions. But here she is! Amihan is finally done after months of being in storage! My first full done doll. She's made of Apoxie sculpt, LOTS of white yarn, a Twyla base, and wires connected to her lower arms. I learned a few things like using wire on existing limbs so they become clippable and learning to sew fancy ruffles on a skirt. (Thank you Akemeru Kawaii in yt for the tip) Thank you to @dollightfully @hextian and @tamakyuart for being my inspirations and I think I'd like to keep at this. Post it!!! I've seen a recent surge of non-human Deps (specifically werewolves ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ), mainly in fanfic, but the fandom needs more!! Like I said in the other post, a non-human Dep is not that far-fetched with what we've seen in-game. Go wild with it. And I love AUs too, they're like lifeblood at this point. Let your AU Rooks be free

@spacedpanini Oh thank you!! I gotta be honest tho, it wasn’t a conscious decision, I just draw what I think looks decent. If I actually spent time trying to make interesting silhouettes it might turn out worse bc I end up overthinking everything lmao
It has been a while! How're you doing? But regarding what I remember abt you most as a writer; I remember the chills I got at the last chapter. I remember being only at the halfway point and waiting for updates in AO3. I remember the joy of finding this blog and reading all the lore. I remember how sweet you are. I come back to the fic and this blog every year (and it has been years) & to find the next fic will be published soon is a treat. Thank you for the wild ride and to more years to come!
I’m good! I have a job, but it’s in retail so my feet hurt all the time. On the other hand, Beggars at the Feast has broken 70,000 words and is still going strong, which is good as I do want to write for a living. But even then, I’m not mentally tired from the day so I end up sitting with my feet in the (cold) bath with my notebook on my lap after each day. I’m writing Dresden right now! He’s very sad!
And thank you! It’s weird to think how far along this fic has come, and my life along with it. Better in all respects, really. I mean, I have a D&D group now.
