Introduced in late 2709 CE, the STY09 is an extremely simple SMG, designed towards high volume and low cost manufacturing. It is a simple blowback design with a low cyclic rate, however it's 11x43mm rounds hit harder than the more common 9mm rounds used by other SMGs.
