#sp7 steve

Hey yall, I’m not sure how much everybody already knows, but now that we’ve gotten an official statement from sp7, I thought I would put together a semi-coherent post about what’s going on.   

     In Beyond the Pine #92, it was officially revealed that SP7 was let go, and are no longer employees of Rooster Teeth. They are, however, still partners with them, and are on good terms.  They were contractually obligated not to say anything about the situation, but the most of it has been or will be addressed.        This season of Alternative Lifestyle is ending, and we will be getting more information in the next video, which should be coming out over the weekend according to Steve. There are two videos left this season, after which there will be a hiatus.  The boys will all still be working together  SP7 will still be producing music, but they are unsure about where they will be taking other content. Beyond the Pine will still be coming out as usual.  The boys had seen it coming and had had conversations with RT about the whole thing before hand, and said themselves that they had thought they would be done months before it finally happened. 

     In the meantime, Cib is working at another production company, Steven has been working on animations, Vicky has another job, and Jamie and Mimi are both working on other things, but all of them are still just as close as they always have been.
