This is the most baffling thing that the fans do when it comes to characters whose actions cross the line.

I am not saying that you are not allowed to be a fan of asshole character. The problem is that there are fans that they are defending the asshol character's questionable actions, and demonizing another character, and saying that the character is as bad, if not worse, than the asshole character, as a way to justify the asshole' character's behavior.

The character's trauma, insecure, how they are raised, etc. is the reason why the asshole character act the way they are. It's not an excuse for them to justify their questionable behaviour, and it's avoiding taking responsibility/accountability.

Like— would you justify a school shooter's action just because they used to be bullied when they are a kid? Hell no! It's not an excuse to kill students who have done nothing wrong with the school shooter! And why isn't the school shooter not targeting the person who bullied them!? Enough of it because I am just using it as an example that shows that trauma doesn't excuse someone's bad behaviour.

Anyway, I am going to talk about Jax and Cartman.
