MC and big bad have surprisingly similar backstory? Loads of mental manipulation in fanfic and canon alike? Time travel is canon so fandom go nuts with it? also, HEIGHT DIFFERENCE? all so that the cringe teenager can dom the MC instead of turned to the path of light? yea, same ship all right.
