EEEE !!! i am so glad to hear that you’re interested in her !!!! and i am even more glad you asked this because it gives me a reason to talk about her !!!

katya actually isn’t adopted by natasha! she’s her biological daughter!

i explain it more better in the prologue but, a very basic explanation as to how she came to be is, katya was made by the red room after natasha joined shield. she was specifically chosen out of all of the other eggs that were harvested before natasha’s hysterectomy because she was a perfect split between natasha’s dna, and bucky’s dna (because his dna was used to fertilize the eggs before freezing them so they didn’t die).

she’s very very favorited by the red room because by their standards, she’s genetically perfect. she’s the perfect solider, the perfect widow, etc.

she genuinely believes that she is better than everybody else and is extremely mean to the people she views as “weaker” and “less than her”.

- she likes oranges. like a lot. she could live off of oranges if she was allowed too.

- same with lemons. she eats them like oranges.

- her favorite season is fall. she likes to watch the leaves change and crush them in her hands.

- she’s never seen a disney movie before because she thinks they’re “too childish”

- her favorite kind of braids are dutch braids

- she thinks pork tastes funny. she doesn’t know why, but it does and she will not eat it. (she eats it if headmistress gives it her but she’ll never go out of her way to eat it)

- she’s a really good artist. specially at realism and drawing birds. she draws birds the most. she thinks drawing the feathers are the most fun

- she’s pigeon toed when she’s not forcing her feet to be “right”. she tried really really hard to train her feet to go the right way, and stay the right way, but they never did. she stands for hours every night staring at her feet and forcing them to be “right”

- even though she’s very very mean to everybody else, she’s the most mean to herself. she is her own worst critic. she whispers all the things she says to other people to herself in the mirror, forcing herself nor to cry, to make her “stronger”

- she isn’t scared of many things, but she’s very afraid of change. (which will be shown when i actually write her) she hates it and struggles to adapt to it. and she’s very very hard on herself because of it.
