Enjoy fluffy and flavorful blueberry sour cream pancakes for a delightful breakfast treat. The sour cream adds richness and tanginess, while the blueberries provide bursts of sweetness in every bite.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 2 tablespoons granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 cup sour cream. 1/2 cup milk. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 cup fresh blueberries. Butter or oil for cooking.
Instructions: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, mix the sour cream, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay. Gently fold in the fresh blueberries. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium-high heat and grease it with butter or oil. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown. Serve the pancakes warm with maple syrup or your favorite toppings.

It's very simple to make these Green Chile Chicken Tacos in a slow cooker, and they taste great. The chicken has a nice kick from the green chilies and spices, and the sour cream and cheddar cheese make it smooth to balance out the heat. Great for a quick and filling meal!
Ingredients: 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1 cup chopped green chilies canned or fresh. 1 onion, finely chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon cumin powder. 1/2 teaspoon chili powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 cup chicken broth. 1/2 cup sour cream. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 8 small tortillas. Fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish. Lime wedges, for serving.
Instructions: Put the chicken breasts, chopped green chilies, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a slow cooker. Along with the chicken, pour the chicken broth over it. Place the slow cooker on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours. Cover and cook until the chicken is soft and can be easily shred with a fork. When the chicken is done, use two forks to shred it and then mix it with the other ingredients and the cooking juices in the slow cooker. Add the sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese, and let them melt into the chicken mixture as you mix them in. To warm the tortillas up, put them on a griddle or dry skillet and cook them for one minute on each side. Spread a lot of the green chile chicken mixture out on each tortilla. Serve with lime wedges on the side and fresh cilantro leaves on top. Have fun with your tasty Green Chile Chicken Tacos!

This vegan sour cream is a great way to enjoy sour cream without the dairy. It's very simple to make and tastes great. You can put it on tacos, baked potatoes, or your favorite snacks as a dip.
Ingredients: 1 cup raw cashews. 1/4 cup water. 2 tablespoons lemon juice. 1 clove garlic. 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Instructions: To make them soft, soak the raw cashews in water for at least two hours or overnight. The cashews should be drained and rinsed. Put the cashews that have been soaked, water, lemon juice, garlic, and salt in a blender. To make it smooth and creamy, scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed. If you think it needs more lemon juice or salt, taste it and add more as needed. Put the vegan sour cream in a container and put it in the fridge until you're ready to use it.

-sad British child labourer chimney sweep cockney accent- pleas scott.... may oiye haev some (sho and rj) lore
ohhhh yes nyeehheehehehee (creepy laugh) long post incoming
so if you've been around, you might be familiar with sho & solsu, albeit loosely (since i . cough. haven't gotten around to making Nouvelle, which was supposed to be a comic series). simply, sho and solsu are dual survivors of vault 111, and they're unlikely friends, who were forced to overcome their personal differences to survive the brutal wasteland as prewar folk.
sho offers his skills & companionship, to help solsu on his quest to reunite with shaun, but there comes a point where solsu makes allies with other people who are able to watch his back, and sho has picked up his fair share of obligations/things to do (minutemen work, mostly).
right around the time that the pair landed in goodneighbor for the memory den, sho learns there's an available merc for hire. given that sho's a hippie-type & visibly intersex, mac isn't sure what to make out of him at first. meanwhile, sho isn't picky at all with who he works with (extremely tolerant), but he has a problem of recognizing his own mental limits, and maccready absolutely tests his saintly patience. sho almost regrets hiring the ~insufferable~ little whiner, and maccready equally holds this building, negative sentiment, due to his frustration with how sho behaves like a gullible geezer half the time. (sho is like only 21 coming out the vault btw theyre just very very traumatized old souled and worn out<3)
For a long while, maccready also feels like his traveling partner is all work and no fun, and the number of small spats they have on the road drive him kind of nuts. he feels like sho's a naive drunk idiot who just doesn't get how the wasteland world works, and it's hard for him to watch the guy metaphorically throw himself under everybody's buses to patch up the endless potholes that have formed around post-war massachusetts. meanwhile, sho already has so much on his plate & keeps trying to forgive and forget whatever grief he has towards mac w/o complaining (his beautiful problems), and it eventually leads to a breaking point where an argument turned physical and months of resentment makes them go absolutely ham on each other. but their brawl ends in them laughing their asses off about how ridiculous the whole thing was (bc the immediate argument was petty, and the fight was over them just being ticked off with each other and not saying anything). they make up over some drinks, and after opening up about themselves, they realize they had more in common than they thought.
from that point on, they start having more heart-to-hearts & trying to understand each others' mindsets, showing each other bits of each others' worlds so that there wouldn't be such a huge empathy gap. sho is the exact kind of stoner he can ramble about his little interests and weird stories to. maccready sort of encourages sho to let loose/self-advocate around people more, since he was very used to being courtly, and shutting himself down in favor of other's needs and wants. after sho learned about the ongoing stuff weighing down on mac's mind, he did everything in his power to help. this really solidified mac's understanding of why sho does the work they do, and he sorta stopped giving them so much flack about being an indiscriminate do-gooder.
now at this point in the story, sho had made like. a crazy amount of friends/allies, more than he was used to having in his corner before the war. by being sho's friend, maccready's isolated ass also went through this shocker of now having a gazillion people who looked out for him. but despite how warm of a community they had, and how sho had that irreversible bond with solsu, the two found themselves feeling a strangely profound connection with each other. it sort of ebbs on romance, but given their history with communication problems (plus the painful new elements of sho having poor self esteem as an intersex brown person from a very oppressive society/upbringing + mac going thru a sexuality crisis, being scared he'd leave a nasty mark in their relationship that can't be mended, and taking their hesitance to make moves on him as a sign of disinterest), i fear these two will not break past the will-they-wont-they stage until they're both in the retirement home.
okay i'm half kidding. i wrote down somewhere in my notes that solsu (aromantic) gifts sho (asexual) and maccready his and nora's wedding bands & they get hitched. and just when everything's resolved and peaceful they haul ass to nuka-world like hamsters that somehow sense methods to see to their own doom and chase it

A delightful twist on classic pancakes, these blueberry sour cream donuts deliver a burst of blueberry goodness with every bite. They make a delightful snack at any time of day or a sweet breakfast treat.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/3 cup granulated sugar. 1 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp baking soda. 1/4 tsp salt. 1/2 cup sour cream. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 large egg. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1/2 cup blueberries. Oil for frying as needed.
Instructions: The all-purpose flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt should all be combined in a mixing bowl. Mix the sour cream, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract thoroughly in a different bowl. Mixing until just combined, pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Take care not to overmix; some lumps are acceptable. Mix the blueberries into the batter gently. Preheat oil to 350F 175C in a deep fryer or heavy-based pan. Spoonfuls of the batter should be dropped into the hot oil using a spoon or piping bag. Fry the batter in batches for two to three minutes on each side, or until golden brown. After taking the donuts out of the oil, drain any excess oil by placing them on paper towels. Warm blueberry sour cream doughnuts can be served warm with a simple glaze or powdered sugar, if preferred.
